The worst place ever! Do not go here if you have dogs! Not sure when the policy went into effect but they do not allow dogs all of a sudden. I was walking down an aisle with my dog and an employee saw my dog jumped up out of his chair and flung his chair towards us which startled my dog who then barked at him. He started yelling at me to get my dog out of here, no dogs are allowed and he was also saying my dog tried to attack him which my dog was by my side the whole time!! While walking out I saw another dog owner and told her dogs aren't allowed inside anymore and she was shocked and still proceeded to go inside. I then called The Home Depot phone number to see when this policy went into effect and she stated there is no policy that dogs aren't allowed, people bring there dogs to the stores all the time! Please do NOT hire people who are going to act this way!!

What a worthless store! Employees busy chatting and on their phones. Can't be bothered with customers. Not knowledgeable about product. Will have you chasing all over the store A serious waste of time. Don't go there. You'll get the same amount oh help on Amazon. And you won't have to drive there. Who runs this mess!???

All Home Depot's are the same. No one working on the floor to help you. No cashiers. I was trying to buy a Weedwhacker and They had them locked up behind gates with padlocks. And nobody on the floor to help you. People say that is to prevent theft but that doesn't make any sense. They have the big items locked up but small items that you can easily put in your pocket. Are out for you to just Grab all you want. And corporate says they will pass the information along to the store manager. Store manager does not make the decision to put everything behind gates that comes from corporate.

A few weeks ago, I purchased an animatronic Halloween witch that didn't fully work out of the box. The box directs you to contact Home Accents, which provided very poor customer service and a low quality product. Parts are 3 weeks in back order. Answers to email are barely literate and turn around time to answer an email is over a week and that is with me following up. Yesterday, I purchased a new Rheem hot water heater and as it was being installed, it was discovered to be leaking. Again, you contact the company and they give you terrible service. I called back 10 times before I finally didn't get disconnected. So a plumber will be paid to install it twice. I couldn't square way with Rheem so back to Home Depot with a new but leaking product. Hours wasted.

Always a problem with the equipment. Nice staff but frustrating that the last 2 things I rented broke while using them. They were both pieces of equipment that I was familiar with operating. Did not have another one to replace them either.

They have horrible customer service. Their employees don’t do their job. Their sales woman didn’t even tell us everything we needed to know about purchasing an appliance if we had an issue. That you require 48 hours notice to send back machine. When I went there within 48 hours the horrible old woman I talked to just brushed me off didn’t want to bother helping me. And on top of it I spoke to a manager who also brushed me off and didn’t even let Whirlpool know I had gone within the 48 hour window. Just told me I had to contact Whirlpool which is not the case. They lack customer service and are just selfish employees that don’t know how to do their jobs at all. An embarrassment to humankind

Based on the 10 years I've lived here and spent endless money at this place. In addition, the curbside pickup is horrible at this location. If you order something online do not expect to pick it up that day. Multiple orders I've placed have been an ordeal. It is also a bad idea to let them pick out your lumber. Every board is warped and unusable.

No matter when I go into this store there are never enough people working. I. Been waiting for someone in the paint department for over 20 minutes. Even after notifying customer service still no one working the counter. I've been Lowes in Yorktown and they have multiple people working in every department. This is a disgrace. Looks like I'll be shopping in Lowes from now on.

Not enough people at Check out - wait in line was too long. You should not need two people to monitor self check out - instead have one of them at a register actually checking people out. There are also too many products made in China - I want and will pay for American made -

The pull start broke on a machine I'd rented. They gave no discount of any sort for my time to return their broken machine. Those things break. I get that it happens. But the guy acted like I was insane for asking about a credit for my 2 hours of time/gas to exchange the machine for another one. I asked how much they charge for delivery and he simply said they don't deliver. No apology. Nothing. Instead he told me I had the machine for 7.5-8 hours before it broke, as if I was pulling on the cord that whole time. I checked my receipt and phone records- I called 5 hours and 18 minutes after renting it to tell them it had broken, and had it back to them within an hour. First and last time I rent from them.I was recently in another HD's rental/repair dept for repair on my own equipment (warranty issue). They gave a guy a few free hours when their piece of equipment had a similar issue to the one I'd rented. That's good customer service. Don't expect that in the Brewster location!

I was made aware of an employee having covid-19 well Atleast exposure due to her girlfriend testing positive. But she was negative. I thought the Covid regulations were still to isolate and quarantine Incase symptoms arise. Or again, you can be a carrier. When the job found out they just trusted to believe their employees honesty. Without seeing documentation which the infected party involved should have stated they had contact with those in this location and put the dates in the Public so those who happened to be there around the same time can get tested and take extra safety precautions. Very, very sad, within this business well this store location that a manager did not feel the needs to see the public health email, did not reach out to the said employee. The worker is a female and in lumber department. From those between the dates 12-8 to today (as she knows her girlfriend is positive) please take extra precautions and get tested!

Useless. Did an an order for tiles. One box short on delivery. HD gave ME the phone number to the vendor and told ME to tell them to find/send a missing box. Vendor never answered the number. Then HD told me they'd "try" to tell their vendor to send the missing box. No update calls from HD with status. Then they told me to call, EVERYDAY at 5 am when they processed deliveries, to see if they came in. Weeks later, I got my missing tiles. When we finally started the project, HD or the vendor, had sent the wrong color for the trim pieces. We just went with it because HD was too much of a failure to waste more time with. Three calls to the general manager, none returned. Never went back.
