ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! Never in my life have I ever seen a more disgusting than a sewer. But I have found it. Terrible service. Owner was rude, unfriendly, and most of all cheap. Would not recommend!!

Do not order from this location!!!! I purchased a 33$ Carvel cake that was missing both the layer of chocolate ice cream as well as the crunchies. I confirmed with the employee when I purchased that I was buying what i wanted. I didn't eat any of it and even left the slice I cut in the box showing the inside of the cake. I returned the following day and the owner herself refused to refund me or even offer an equal exchange. In fact she told me, "what do you want me to do about it" "so I'm just supposed to take a loss" "that's a you problem" and the real kicker, "I can't be responsible for what my employee said." As the owner of the store, excuse me but who else is responsible? I will never purchase from this location and I live 3 minutes away.

I have been a Carvel customer since 1968. I took the time to go to Carvel in Briarcliff on Friday evening. I asked for a sundae with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream and nuts. The gentleman who helped me said that he understood. When I got home I opened it and ate because it had a lot of whipped cream and I could not tell there was no fudge. I ate all of the whipped cream that night. Tonight I tried to eat the rest of the ice cream but I was angry because I had paid for ice cream that I did not want. When I called the manager to say that I wanted to return it she objected but eventually she said that I could bring it back. So, after a long day I drove across Ossining to Carvel. The owner told me that my request was ridiculous. She said that it was a stupid thing that I was asking for. I reminded her that I patronized her store and did not get what I ordered and she should remedy the situation immediately because that would be good customer service. Eventually she said she would take it back but she repeated over and over that this was a ridiculous request and I told her that this was bad business that I would not take that replacement and I will never again patronize Carvel at any location throughout the world.

Very displeased with their service one of their employees dropped a quarter in my girlfriends milkshake thinking we were mistaken we left but we came back after we realized we were right and they charge us a whole five dollars for another shake after their mistake

I might have had slower service in life but the lack of consistency at this location is what worries me. On top of the fact that multiple times my orders have been wrong , they yelled at man for not wearing a mask; meanwhile they lack social distancing markers. The staff never changes their gloves after serving and handles money in between. I walked out. I'll go buy my own from the grocery store.

Went here for bogo sundaes. Was told jr size doesnt count and because i got sprinkles and no cherries it was not a sundae. "You didnt order them as a sundae" i was told. Mind you 2 weeks ago i ordered the same thing and had zero issues. This Carvel Sucks

Appalled at the poor customer service displayed tonight. No greeting, rushed me through my order, (with not a single additional customer present in the store waiting). After explicitly stating I wanted BOGO small sundaes, I was charged double for a second order (bc they were Jr. size-never has been an issue in the past, as we are regulars who live in neighborhood). Upon questioning the charge, pointing out her lack of transparency & demanding she rectify the situation by giving me the BOGO deal I was entitled to, she initiated an argumentative interaction in front of another customer, and in a very agitated manner rushed through my new order, huffed & puffed as she carelessly and impatiently prepared, and tossed ice cream in bag (sideways). Patience, kindness & a smile goes a long way. New ownership should communicate this. Lost my business.

Let me tell you a story. Today on 2/1/2019 I walked into this carvel at 9:15. 45 until closing and walking up to carvel all you see is a bunch of kids smoking juuls and blasting rap music twerking on the counter top. As soon as we walked in they were all shocked as if we did something wrong trying to come in and get some ice cream as they continued to smoke indoors. Anyways looks like we won't be coming in here for a late night treat again.

The owner is sooooo rude!!! Never will go back there again! If I need a Carvel Cake I'll go too ShopRite! Fills ice cream cups half way. The medium looks like a kiddie cup! Wrote down the spelling of my son's name for a birthday cake. He misspelled it on the cake and got angry with me that he had to redo it. Awful place...

The owner of this Carvel is certainly the worst operator of a Carvel I have ever encountered. I dealt with him a few months ago and thought he was odd. I left and did not give it much more thought. Today, he messed up an order for a special birthday cake and I decided to go to YELP to see the reviews. Read them all and you will see this is not the place you want to go enjoy some ice cream with your family.
