Unfortunately, management has changed and several items have new recipes or are sourced from lower-quality suppliers. If you were here a couple of years ago, do not return expecting the same quality of chocolatiership. Many chocolates are now made with major alterations to their recipes which are not industry standard and which severely negatively impact the taste, perhaps none moreso than the maple creams, which are now utterly disgusting. Considering they were the major draw to this establishment for me, along with prices failing to drop in proportion to the sharp decline in quality, as well as the significantly less friendly and more cold new owners...there isn't really a reason to consider shopping here, sad to say. The fruit creams are significantly less flavorful and cheaper tasting as well, but the maple creams in particular taste SO off, that I suspect they might actually be illegally labelled as maple due to the state of new york having stricter labelling requirements than most of the rest of the country about maple products...

Unfortunately, the quality has plummeted on a lot of items under new management. If you were here a few years ago and remember the good times, do bot return with the expectation that they will continue. Disappointing.

The chocolate store has a wide range of chocolates, featuring unique flavors like jalapeño. For those who enjoy sweeter chocolate, this is the ideal place; however, it was a bit too sweet for my taste. Overall, the store offers an extensive array of flavors and a vast variety of chocolates to choose from. Customer Service was also friendly; 3.5 stars for me.

I have been going to the Chocolate Chalet for year around Easter JUST for the gourmet jelly beans. They are super expensive but have always been worth it to make Easter feel more 'magical' when my kids get them in their easter baskets. This year they were the most mediocre large run-of-the-mill jelly beans AT THE SAME PRICE as the gourmet ones. I ended up spending 48 dollars on two little sleeves of generic jelly beans and a couple of chocolate covered pretzels. I am so thoroughly disappointed and will never be back.

Love this little Mom & Pop chocolate shop! So many great items in a convenient location, just a quick hop off Route 9 and right back on. Love stopping here for a treat anytime! Chocolate covered pretzels are my fave quick treat, but the owner has so many amazing options. Even special seasonal items! Really worth stopping and checking it out!

Chocolate covered pretzels are my fave quick treat, but the owner has so many amazing options. Even special seasonal items! Really worth stopping and checking it out!

The chocolates are as sweet as the staff. They were friendly, funny ,and had a wide selection of chocolates to choose from. There's a reason its stuck around this long.

Didn't have a chance to try out the chocolates because of the poor sanitary practices. The woman who was serving the person in front of me was handling/grabbing all the chocolates with her bare hands, and pressing them into place in the box with her fingers (not even using a piece of wax/tissue paper) I guess people must not mind too much because of the good reviews, but I was rather disgusted, and left without buying anything. If I have to wear a mask just to walk into the shop, the staff should have to wear gloves when handling people's food. Very disappointed.

I’ve been coming to the Chocolate Chalet for years especially when John owned it the new owner Tori is extremely rude unprofessional and does not know how to deal with customers I will not return the only reason I continue to come here was Diane who is extremely kind and knows all about customer service there’s so many different chocolate places you cango don’t treat customers bad Pleasantville has a place called little chocolate shopAnd Mamaroneck has a place called chocolates

Alert this place is no longer owned by John the new owner Tori is completely rude unprofessional and I will not return to this place the only reason that I go to the Chocolate Chalet is due to Diane who is extremely friendly kind a knows how to deal with the people. Go to the little shop in Pleasantville or chocolates in Mamaroneck

Amazing and absolutely beautiful chocolates with an incredibly large selection (even jalapeño chocolates!) A great local place in Westchester that more people should know about. Will definitely be back for more treats :)

Very disappointing chocolates. I purchased an assortment and found the dark chocolate itself to be incredibly mediocre and the fillings virtually tasteless. Unfortunately, a couple of the chocolates that had any flavor tasted like soap. I would rather have a tasty Ritter chocolate bar for a fraction of the price per pound.
