Key Food Supermarkets on Queens Blvd is undergoing renovations with new cash registers, paint, and freezers on the way. The store is smaller than other locations with a limited variety and it can feel dark inside. The floor is in bad condition and it is a bit run down. However, the fruits are pretty good and at a cheap price. Its location is very convenient for nearby buildings where you can walk if parking is an issue.
So the two stars because, yeah, everything is cheap, and eg, but, my grandpa got scammed ones. So we went to this supermarket to get food, and they scammed him by adding some weird additional fees for 20 BUCKS!!! So I wouldn’t really recommend going there.

Undergoing renovations for too long. Prices not a bargain. Okay for occasional items if needed.

They started a renovation or something months ago, lighting is horrific, place looks horrible, prices are sky high on too many items - some items you know they are price gouging and it has NOTHING to do with inflation.
