The prices they are asking are ludicrous for vehicles well over a decade old and high miles. I recommend shopping around before even considering purchasing a vehicle from this place. You can easily find newer models of the same vehicles with lower miles from many, MANY used car dealers in western NY. And I’m talking vehicles with no severe accident or lemon history!

Sold my parents a car with a bad motor and bad transmission, they’ve had the car less than two years and it’s been at a shop more than they’ve driven it. When they originally bought it, the car smoked terribly and they started the lying there, told my parents that it was “normal for that motor “ ... We then noticed a terrible jerking when driving at low speeds(15-30mph) and took it to our regular mechanic to have codes checked and low and behold there was a code for the transmission (quite literally called a “jitter code” apparently common for infinity’s) Then after multiple calls and complaints (all within 6 months of buying it) they told them they could bring the car back. Now they admit to an issue with the motor miraculously, they said that the valve seals in the head were bad and that’s why it was smoking. However, that the transmission was fine and there was no issue with that. They had the car for two months and my dad had to call them for an update after not hearing from them for those two months just for the owner to tell him that he had been driving it for the last several weeks and there was no issues with the transmission, but that they fixed the valve seals in the motor therefore claiming to have fixed the smoking issue, telling us that it no longer smoked. So we go to pick up the vehicle, my dad goes in, gets the keys and paperwork for the “work performed” and get in the car started it up and what’a you know? It’s smoking like a chimney. So we shut off the vehicle and go back inside just to be rudely told that “ there’s oil in the exhaust, that’s normal” okay so we leave, well flash forward two months and shocker, it’s still smoking, not only that but when we opened the hood we noticed the engine cover missing and everything was loose under there, no bolts or clips had been replaced after removing them when it was there previously. So here we are again, my dad calls them express his concern over the missing cover and bolts/clips(least of our problems at this time), and explains that he’s brining it back due to the issue not being fixed and still having a jerk at low speeds while driving. So we take it back, two months goes by and now we’re being told the car is ready and that the entire motor was replaced! Wow! So something was wrong with it… Awesome! So we finally have the car back and my parents are finally excited to drive the car they paid almost $20,000 for. oh! they also found the engine cover! (It was in the garbage “by mistake”) They again said no transmission issues and that there’s nothing wrong with it to fix, so okay they claim no codes on it either, fine. We get the car and other than the jerking, which it still had a code for we verified this with 3 mechanics, it was driving good for about 6 months. Well 3 months ago my parents couldn’t drive it anymore due to the jerking, it just wasn’t safe, so this time we take it to infinity themselves, and what do you know? It’s got a code for the transmission! Weird but it’s the same one we told Barry’s about a year prior… almost like it had been there this whole time…… but that of course couldn’t be the case as the owner here at Barry’s assured us it had no codes. Anyway, here we are today, 11/8/2023 and my parents just received a $15,000 bill from infinity for a bad transmission (service guy at infinity was kind enough to inform my parents that the valve cover on the motor is leaking oil, the air conditioning compressor is bad and the transaxel assembly is bad as well.) So, reluctantly, my dad called Barry’s this morning just to be told “we didn’t hear from you after the last time we told you the transmission had no issues so we assumed it was fine, there’s nothing we can do, our warranty will only pay for $1,900 of the cost” … my parents are in utter shock, they don’t have $15,000 lying around for a transmission(not that they should need it..) but this has got the be the most disgusting business I have ever had the displeasure of doing any sort of business with. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here. Please, reconsider coming here. Ask the locals.

If I could give it 0 stars I would I have heard my grandmothers a** say smarter things then the people who work here they have no idea what to do when your car is smoking or when the transmission only shifts at 3500 rpm’s don’t take your car here if you want it to last long

AVOID!!! Bought a used vehicle that spent more time in the repair shop this summer than actually on the road. Service was slow & repeat fix attempts ultimately did not resolve our driving safety issues. Horrible experience for my daughter's firstcar.

0 Stars Honestly. Purchased a car from them with a 2 year warranty and the transmission blew, they then had sent it somewhere and had work done on it that wasn’t even requested to be done when I was under the idea it was for the transmission. When addressed as to why they said to get off the property and will not be honoring warranty work. Took to another dealership and stated it needed an entire transmission but Barry’s claimed it wasn’t just so they didn’t need to cover it after they sent it elsewhere that wasn’t authorized to do work on it. They were rude and not willing to honor their word or contract therefore some not nice words were exchanged including from the owner. If you read other reviews with warranty work it is clear they do not honor it. Never again will I do business with them nor recommend them.

They sold me a lemon that was leaking differential fluid, transmission fluid and power steering fluid within 3 months. The sales reps couldn't care less. Thanks guys!In response to the owner, I fully expect an older car to have issues that require repair. But to drive a car for approximately 90 days and incur several thousand dollars of repairs is ridiculous. And to be told when you are covered on the power train warranty that your MASSIVE transmission issues (noise coming from the drive shaft, leaking fluid) are not their problem is mind blowing. By the time I've finished repairs, I will have spent almost as much as buying a new vehicle. Stay away people!

Awesome sales, makes buying a truck easy. Vance treated me like family. He took interest in what and why I needed a truck. He found me the perfect vehicle. There was no stress. He treated me with respect and dignity. I have never had a car buying experience that was so pleasant. If you want a used vehicle this is the place to go.

I bought a good truck with low mileage. Very professional experience. Tracy Hainsworth is very good at his job. Thanks Tracy. 4 stars, would have been 5 with a full tank of gas?

I purchased a low mileage Traverse in excellent shape from Barrys and had a great experience. It seems like they have some of everything in their inventory, from cars and suvs to all different types of trailers and even some golf carts. If your in the market for a vehicle or trailer its definitely worth it to check them out because they very well may have exactly what you are looking for.

Contacted Barry's Auto center and spoke with a car salesman by the name of Bob about a car they had for sale. This car would be my son's first car, my goal, just like anybody was to have a safe reliable vehicle that would last. This car met all the criteria. I had done extensive research on the value of the vehicle and this one was priced really well. My son has driven this vehicle for two weeks now without any issues. I couldn't be happier, so much so that I have another son that needs a vehicle in July, I will be going right to Barry's. On a side note my salesman, Bob was excellent. No BS, straight talker, Thank you Bob.
