I'm leaving a 4 star review for the insurance aspect of it. The coverage and authorization process is great but the reason I'm docking a star is because there aren't a lot of specialists that take Molina managed medicaid. That is the only issue I have with them. Customer service is great. It's a shame not a lot of doctor's take it. I have no idea why but if they expand that area I will be back!

They are the worst insurance ever. Since March I have been trying to get my GMS. Pharmacy denied it and DME approved it by doing an override and I still have not gotten the device to monitor my condition. I can’t wait until the year is up to switch insurance. It is true ever since Molina merged with Affinity the quality of service has gone down and I’m sure lots of members are have left and more will be leaving. They deny everything. Every month is a new medication not being covered.

This has been the worst health insurance I have dealt with. My own doctors advise me to switch to another insurance. I strongly recommend to stay away from Affinity. They don't pay the doctors in full & stay stuck with a massive medical bill & unless you pay you can't see the doctor..

I have been trying to fill a prescription for 6 months and have given up. Never had this issue before Molina was involved. Call customer service numerous times and was informed the problem is resolved. I even received a letter in the mail a month later saying the script was approve . When my pharmacy tries to fill it they get rejected. Called customer service again and transferred to another section, they transfer me back to CS. I am then hung up on. I receive a message from CS to call them about important information on my prescription, when I call back the said they are not sure why I received the call. I can not wait to switch plans. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with.

Bad. Like really, REALLY bad.Basically impossible to find providers because they do not update their databases when doctors stop accepting their insurance, even if those doctors send updates to affinity to let them know of the changes. Additionally, no one is on the same page with regards to policies — I have gotten conflicting answers to the same question from four different representatives all in the same day. I have also gotten referred to addresses but given the wrong phone numbers to reach those locations at. And most doctors who DO still accept their insurance have garbage reviews. Literally nothing good to say about them — if you've got other options, please seriously consider them.Edit: Went through and read a bunch of older reviews. REALLY wild to see that issues from 5-6 years ago have not been addressed.

I went to 1776 easchester rd. For my covert injection. The first shot I received. The second shot I was there for and seated in a chair for it. I got the the needle quick p**** but I don't believe I got the intended fluid injection. She was very clever. She also suggested I take a selfie to SHOW I got the injection. Since I was there and it happened to me, I Am 99 percent sure I did Not get the 2nd shot. Seniors beware. When I questioned her about the expeditiously manner in which I was ""finished ",she said yes ,now take a selfie. Going forward, now on t.v. they claim one injection will help. I need to know if the second does was a slightly different ingredient or a lesser amount then the first. Be careful all people. There is crime in all aspects in life. Don't let anyone tell you that you're making a mistake. You and he or she were there. The people in charge should work on preventing such misconduct.

I usually have a fairly good experience with with Affinity Health Plan. I'm having an issue with my pharmacy because I'm a restricted member due to my medications. I left 3 to 4 messages for Marsha who is in charge of restricted plan members, instead of returning my call to explain my situation or just simply saying it takes 24 to 48 hours to change your pharmacy. Marsha relayed messages on what to through her co-workers and when I asked to speak to her I got she's busy or she stated "this isn't her first time changing pharmacies. I like Affinity Health Plan but I may have to leave.

Affinity charged me $26,400. annually for insurance for their top Platinum-plan. I had a heart attack and went to the nearest "In-Network" emergency room hospital. Affinity only paid the hospital $72 for the $15,000 visit. Affinity had the hospital charge me the remaining $14,928 bill because affinity says the "hospital did not get a pre-authorization for the emergency room visit" and the policy I signed states that I will pay the in-network Affinity hospital any money not paid by Affinity.
