Wanted to have a document notarized and needed to see if a notary was in but no one answers the phone at this branch, nor at the main customer service number. Even the chat was unavailable. Would be hesitant to place my money in an establishment that's tough to reach unless I can get there in person.

This bank right here is so racist to they own people and they act like they never seen a few thousand I had to go all the way to a Brooklyn location to get a check cashed that they could’ve done for me the same thing the same way ….. this should’ve been one of the locations shut down my first time there and I would never in my life step foot in there AT ALL… DONT WAST YOUR TIME HERE SO MUCH OTHER BANKS THAT ARE BETTER AND WAY MORE PROFESSIONAL

RUN AWAY. I tried to refinance my mortgage with them and it took OVER 5 MONTHS due to their sloppy work and slow turnaround turns.

Absolute worst, most inconvenient bank in existence. This location has rude, miserable workers. The bank itself is barley accepted with any type of updated payment options such as samsung pay..not accepted! Closed on weekends! Nearly no locations to go to!! All very spread apart from one another! The worst bank.

So many Amalgamated Banks have closed, only 2 are open now. I don’t even think they’re still FDIC insured. Regardless of that I have no choice but to close out my accounts as I have no way to get to Manhattan or the Bronx unless I take the train and subway. Just not convenient. Amalgamated was always such a great bank, no minimum deposits, great people, been with them over 30 yrs. and I wish it stayed open. I’d give it 5 stars when it was open thru Sept.2020. My only reason for 4 is becaus3 they’re closing.

This bank does not serve any customers needs. Use another bank you'll be better off.

The speed of service is mediocre. Better than Burnside, but not as good as East Tremont used to be. Although there's free parking, u have to fight for a spot. The Dominican deli a few doors away is a plus. My Grandma used to go here, so I've still dealt with it, despite it being a bit busier.

Worse bank ever! You make a $5 transaction that’s “suspicious” they freeze your card and have to go to a branch to get a new one. Have to beg to withdraw funds. Closed my account after 4 years of horror luckily this was a secondary bank not my primary one
