DO NOT TRUST THE FINANCIAL ADVISOR IN THERE! He’s throws you a sales pitch! He’s not helping you he’s a salesman who shows up that plastic blue 10 yr trophy…

I see Shelly one of the branch managers, she personable and knowledgeable. Cares about her clients and periodically calls to check on you.

This branch deserves ZERO stars. I work at a law firm in the city. I stopped by here this morning on my way to the Bronx Supreme Court to deposit checks into different guardianship accounts. The teller at the "Business" window asked me if I am the person on the check. I told her no and that the person is our guardianship client. She then told me that she cannot accept it because I am not the person on the check. I told her I do this all the time and that the attorney on the check is my boss and that he is the person's guardian. She further said that she is just doing her job. I was so disappointed at what was happening that I asked her to return all the checks to me. First of all, I was NOT cashing the check. Second, I was actually trying to deposit it into the person's guardianship account. And lastly, what she should have done was just simply enter the bank account into the system and look into the account profile instead of making herself look like an idiot. The lesson here is "NEVER DO BANKING AT THIS BRANCH AGAIN!" I will certainly report this incident to the branch by my job who handle our accounts.

Horrible and unsafe, there are always "homeless" people in the bank and staff ignores them, although there is some nice and respectful people who are homeless, having" homeless" people hang out in the chase bank vestibule is a safety hazard as you don't know who they are and what they are up to. There was a "homeless" guy who was opening the doors and was touching people on the way out, there was a "homeless" lady get aggressive at me and curse me out because I didn't give her money. Besides this obvious safety issue there is always drama at chase bank, they close the bank sometimes without notifying customers, there are days where you come in and you can tell something insane happened there like the photos I posted here, the bank looks run down with the interior design, machines be out of order all the time, always unclean and messy, long wait times to to talk to a bank representative, long lines for the bank tellers, Chase doesn't accept cash advance if you have a discover credit card, they don't take coins and make you do their work by putting them into a coin cardboard roll which is impossible to do. They have high fees but they at least tell you about it, the banking details is the same at any bank but the services are not. The Manhattan chase banks have a superior customer service if you go to the wealthy areas but if you live in poor or middle class areas of New York City like the outer boroughs then you are stuck with mediocre and horrible service. For the fees of this bank and how wealthy they are, it's unacceptable to have bad service like this. The list go on about how bad this place is. Enter at your own peril!!!!

This chase is the worst chase bank I have ever been too. Came to open an account and had only 2 people ahead of us and stood over 2 hours. There were only 2 reps working and each took unnecessary time with each customer. One of the reps kept stopping what she was dping to check in the growing geoup of waiting customers- thats what tje sign in sheet is for . Again, no efficiency in the way that this bank works. Then when it was finally my turn with a rep she took a customer who came well after me because she didn't 'specialize in opening accounts'. When you have a high volume of customers it is customary to have enough qualified employees on shift so that the wait is not 2+ hours. Don't waste your time here and go across the street.....

This Chase branch is adjacent to its twin 76 East 161st Street, Bronx, NY 10451 branch on the periphery of Bronx's Grand Concourse Yankee Stadium and Bronx's Civil Courthouse. The teller queue moves moderately which is shocker as it was the first of the month. The tellers provides minimal service to customers. The clientele is rather very low class, egregious vulgar, uneducated who lack basic common courtesy as "excuse me," or "thank you" but "gimme this now" and "yo, why ya ain't tell me where the F** is my SSI money man?" The female teller kept her professionalism to print a mini statement showing the deposit transaction credited to the sketchy crass customer. This location sits nearby B, D, 4, trains at 161st Street.
