Nice bank , well-stationed in the Fordham shopping district…but I don’t like the fact that you have to make an appointment to open up any kind of account. I had to wait for some in order to open up a checking account for my mom and my daughter. The wait is long.

This is the worst Chase Bank location I've ever visited in my life. Trying to escort my 80 year old Uncle to make his bank transactions. The vice president of the bank knew my Uncle needed assistance walking and has memory issues, she allowed him to walk out of the bank unattended and I had to frantically go looking for him in the street. The customer service offices and exit/entree are not adjacent or visible to the waiting area. The women greeting you at the door were very rude, disorganized and couldn't remember your place on line to be helped. How many times can you mispronounce someone's name or get their name wrong entirely. I'm glad I don't have my money in this bank.

Extremely long wait times. Staff seem clueless on opening a business account which, for me was seamlessly done with another bank for my other store. When it hit the 2 hour mark, I requested my certified check, documents and left

Front the Security to the cashier worst bank ever, cashiers are rude and unhelpful. I live 2 minutes away and most days drive to 233rd for banking needs. Since my acct is a business acct l have to come her from time to time.

I walked into this bank needing to open an acct because my previous acct had been compromised. No one here cared that someone else had access to my acct. They all told me new accts were only to be opened by appointment. They refused to acknowledge that this was an emergency. I was told to check back in two weeks to see if anything was available... I advise no one waste their time with this branch.

Worst experience at this branch! I was seen by 4 different people and waited 2 hours! During covid the least thing I wanted to do was see 4 different associates and wait 2 hours to be told they are busy. Everyone who came in at the same time I did were long gone. This branch needs the staff to be more professional and well trained. Seriously for an easy errand do not visit, very disappointing!

I visited Chase to resolve an issue with my account. I signed to speak to a rep. After an hour and half of waiting, when it was finally my turn, a gentlemen walked in. The rep that was signing people in was about to schedule an appointment for him. The gentlemen proceeding to schedule the appt. said "I'm a private clent" The rep that was to be finished with his client, who was supposedly taking care of me next. ( Jose Almonte) told the rep. just take his name. No credentials were checked, and indeed he was called next. I approached Mr. Almonte and asked why if Im next. He responded he is a private customer. My question is what makes them think that I'm not a private customer also. Besides regardless of the status I am a Chase customer too for over 25 years where at one point of my years held 4 different accounts. Presently I hold a checking, savings and a mortgage account, who in two days will be undergoing surgery and will be totally disable for the next 3 months, Very, very Disappointed client. .

I am a Chase customer and have been utilizing this branch for over a year now for ATM deposits and withdrawals. This morning, I dropped by to make a quick transaction, on my way to work. The door to the bank opens when the bank card is inserted. This morning I had to insert the card a few times, before the door unlocked. As we walked in, the guard started shouting at us, ordering us to get out and use another bank. This guard walked up to us, within an inch of our persons, and continued shouting. His body language was threatening, and it seemed like he's about to swing at my fiance, or at me.I was not sure why this was happening. Was this guard under the influence? Was he having a nervous breakdown? Did he have a fight with his woman? Or is it simply that he did not like my and/or my fiance's ethnicity?I had to use the ATM, but the guard was hovering over me, even after I asked him to step aside, as I was entering my pin. At this point, the guard said he is calling the police. I got to my job at 9am, and my hands are still shaking. This was an extremely traumatic experience. I would never imagine being kicked out of the bank that I keep my hard earned cash in and being bullied, humiliated and threatened by a guard employed by the bank.
