Stopped into this bank the other day to get a bank check issued. It took quite a long time, much longer than it should have. Finally received the check and noticed that they had not changed the ink in their printer. Didn't want to waste any additional time so took the badly printed check and left. When I submitted their bank check to my other financial institution, it was promptly flagged and rejected. Now need to spend more time resolving this issue. Would never recommend Citibank or this branch to anyone period. No attention to detail at all.

The banking side team is great. The wealth management side is a disaster. Seldom available, snarky and unhelpful. Attitude is "do not bother me" rather than I am here to help you.

This is the most customer friendly branch in New York State. The staff is very courteous and highly professional. Plenty of parking and places to eat and shop.

So the other day there was a line of like 5 people. One teller was busy with a customer and the other was counting money. I suppose whatever task with the money she was doing was important, but it seemed as if she was keeping everyone at bay for whatever reason. She was still on duty of course. Meanwhile the Assistant Manager without a customer in her office knew what was going on but didn't do anything. Finally one of the other bankers came over and asked her in front of everyone to at least put up her "Next teller please" sign which she did not. She finally took the next customer like 7 minutes later who just wanted some fives for her bill and was complaining the whole time that she had problems standing. This story is indicative of how the entire bank treats the importance of a customer's time. I think the staff at this bank is very knowledgeable. Customers typically get great service and are happy upon exiting. It's just it is true that they do not care if you are waiting an hour, literally an hour, for them. It may give them status too in their own minds, keeping you waiting; not sure or maybe it's just how banks operate in general but the reviews here are true. They may be the nicest, greatest people in the world but they operate on their own time, definitely not New York time. Update 4/22/18: Meanwhile, on a more serious note, there is a more important matter going on there other than timeliness. The branch manager who has been closing the bank doors at the end of the day for the last 30 years probably, is now putting the task in the hands of his tellers who know nothing about it. It's because he feels it is the responsibility of his new security guard. So instead of getting to the root of the problem and contacting his director/supervisor or even the guard's company for clarification, he figures he'd dig under his own staff until the problem is miraculously sorted out on its own. Obviously the management is unprofessional at this location with its solutions or maybe it's just immaturity. It may be time for management to step down and hand it over to people who are more qualified for the roles instead of riding out staff until it's time to retire.
