Had this locker for about 6 months and just recently moved don't bother renting here they might be sweet and nice but if they make an error it will be the customer fault they don't call if your card is declined they only send u an automatic message when ur storage has a late fee if I can give this 0 stars I would don't come here they rates go up every 6 months also

Very disappointed with this location on 1260 zerega ave Bronx NY. I called 08/03/2024 and spoke with a female agent on the phone to rent out a unit. I specified with the lady on the phone that I am pregnant and would need an elevator. She replied and said yes there are elevators I’ll be fine. I went to move forward with the transaction under the impression there is an elevator because I am high risk and am not allowed to take any stair's. Came today 08/04/2024 to move into the unit and the front desk lady (Brittany) asked if I was aware that there’s stairs and no elevator? She explained that the elevator is only available for anything going into storage. Then as I asked “who did I speak with on the phone ?” because I was basically lied to. She then told me in the computer it shows someone from the (call center). So I called the number that was “the call center” and the phone from the very exact office I was standing in kept ringing. Very Confused I asked and was then told the (call center) would only pick up if they were too busy at the office I was at, so I never got in touch with anyone from the “call center” further on I asked to speak with a manager or supervisor but was told (Manager Marcus) was on vacation and wasn’t coming back until the 8th. Front desk female called her manager (Marcus) that was on vacation and spoke with him and now I’m told I couldn’t receive any money back even though it hadn’t even passed 24 hours the only thing I can get receive a refund for was the $17 which was the insurance they charge but the activation fee was non refundable (which I was not told on paper nor over the phone about this). I am in the military and was already told I’ll be getting a 10% discount as long as I brought in my ID to prove. Because I needed this unit in such a timely matter and I already had paid an activation fee plus the $17 insurance fee and with my pregnancy there isn’t much moving around I can do I had to settle for this. However, I believe the service received for the inconvenience and being lied to was not the service I deserved. The only thing I was told was I can be given a 10% but it couldn’t be added on to the 10% military discount so in reality I was given nothing at all and just forced to stay with the storage unit.

The best storage service I’ve gotten so far in NYC or ever! Chris was so helpful and kind it make this process so seamless and less stressful. The units are easy to get to and clean and they’re very responsive when units are available.

I highly recommend using prime storage on Zerega avenue in the Bronx. Their customer service is second to none. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and kindness. I was able to have all my questions answered. The facility was well maintained and clean.

The oak tree is that you start paying 120 and when about 5 or 6 months have passed it increases to 200, I complained and they lowered me 20 dollars, so now I pay 180 for a small one... and I am crazy to find someone to move me
