After a flooding, insurance did not cover damages to damaged items. They do not cover natural disasters. Although flooding occurred one week after pay period, no type of refund was giving. I was told Cubesmart district manager is the one who handles these cases and will contact me. Never heard from them. I Reached out several times and kept being told the same. Is going on 1 1/2 months and no one has reached out to me and has resolved the issue. It seems they have no concern me loosing half my belongings in their possession due to flooding and no interest giving any portion of money back. I paid full month, only 1 week was in used before flooding accrued and was giving a 3 day notice to move out, if not it will be as if I surrendered the rest of my belongings and they will be thrown out. Very disappointed. 395 Brook ave. Bronx location. (Store manager maleek?)

Basement got flooded was told to move out didn’t get reimbursed for the month I paid had to removed all my stuff my self and rent a car then find another storage had to pay the set up fee, and the month again

We also had our unit destroyed because of the storm. Our things in the Basement as well. They are telling us we will not be compensated. Even if you have no insurance, your company should cover natural disasters like this. Make it make sense. There are a lot of sentimental things in there. Really upset. Will post photos to this comment. Beware of where you put your important things.

This is the worst storage facility. Management retaliates against customers. They also like to harass the customers when on the property. A manager is never available to provide assistance. They failed to identify themselves and give their names. Corporate fails to answer and return phone calls/emails. They also try to evict without probable cause.

-0 Cohersed to sign faulty contract (due to closing shortly) flooded my unit twice and destroyed my property. Paying on time consistently for unit and faulty $12 extra insurance coverage that covers nothing.Total loss on my behalf... And I conduct business with honor.

We rented a unit it flooded not only did the General Management lie to us over the phone when I played the recording back he then wanted to tell another store manager maybe he did say that. This places floods in the basement they don't let u knw moving in after we asked for a higher ground unit and still ended up in the basement . We were told by many other guess the insurance will not cover natural disaster. This location is horrible and likes to just take money knowing there basement floods. They will clean the water n move more ppl in its not the 1st time this happened every hurricane or bad weather were it rains bad the basement floods no one covered us to move out we had to pay and move our stuff after 2 weeks of being there corporate need to look at management and there skills he didn't do his job.

The personnel is super nice (Thanks Diamond) and the space is ok like always. Otherwise, water bottles and sitting space are gone since the pandemic and still have to return.

Here is a brief list of things wrong with the 10x10 unit I am renting. 1. There is a support pillar in the middle of the unit that was not disclosed in the description and certainly takes up plenty of square footage. 2. There is no light in the unit and the light in the nearby area is out and has been for quite sometime according to the employee I spoke with. 3. The entire basement has a strong smell/odor of MOLD! 4. There are at least 3 MAJOR LEAKS with pools of standing water in the basement hence the mold smell. The mold is not new nor are the puddles of water evident by the large dehumidifier last serviced 10/2022 by Petro Co. 5. The “deal” involving a free truck for move in requires you to communicate via phone because that’s how this company does it so don’t expect to speak to anyone other than via text or email. Long story short I got what I paid for !

The company yo start off is a little deceiving, I spoke to the agent on the phone the agent tells me I have a unit on the second floor when I get there the unit is in the basement, it smells moldy and damped . Not only that if I decide to move from the basement I need to pay over 70 dollars more, I had no choice but to keep the unit until I can find a better solution.

At 395 brook avenue cube smart the employee at this location don’t respect there customers . When you ask to speak to a manager to make a complaint . They call themselves to be a manger when you ask for they name they ignored you. I had a so call manager be so disrespectful and rude . He follow me in the elevator and harass me to find out my unit. They close before time . The other worker just be outside smoking .
