Complete filth and chaos!! Cashiers are rude and unprofessional. Security stands at the door and watches everyone as they come in. If you come in here with a bag you have to leave it at the front of the store. They won't allow you walk around with a bag of any kind. Every customer is presumed a thief as you enter the door. Products are often not stocked and unavailable. Merchandise sits in shipping totes for days at a time. Shelves of product are unorganized and cluttered. Shop at your own risk!!

I walked by it recently and saw it was closed and burned in the front. I thought it was a trash fire and that nothing else inside was damaged or anyone hurt. Haven't heard anything about it until now here. I shop here often so I'm sad that this happened. Hope it opens soon.

The dollar general near southern Blvd And freeman street just burned down in a fire this morning(2/14/24). 4 people died 1 kid 1 woman and 2 workes at about 8:05 AM. I was getting ready for the 19 bus and heard about the fire. i checked and saw an ambulance near and i was shocked. This dollar general was my childhood, i loved the prices,many things to select, and workers are very kind. I dont know what happend. This place was a 5 Star Will go again if i could.

Dollar General 1312 Southern BlvdBronx.A pleasant experience!!It is fantastic to find general dollar stores everywhere, but the most fantastic thing is their products and their specials week after week, there are spectacular offers, here you can find all the brands at really low prices, basket products, cleaning products , vitamins, etc etc etc, I won't say more, I better invite you to visit a general dollar store, as everywhere there are exceptions, but if you meet Samantha who is at the cash register or the manager Darío, rest assured that you will receive friendly and pleasant treatment!!

Went to the dollar general store in Southern Boulevard Bronx, NY. When I walked in I went to thebirthday card se tjon. Thers were three heavy carts full of items in front of the card section. IHe had an attitude. He thenasked one of the employees to go the card section and move the carts. Unfortunately, I didn't find the cards. The three employees I saw there were working on other stuff. No employee at the cash register. Manager of this store look into what's going on with this store

They have some Good Snacks, the staff is nice , no pan handler to greet you for once! The store is nice compared to other store like Family Dollar ??? ,prices are affordable, lines are not long.

After waiting in line for almost 6 minutes a customer who was not in line walked up and put her items on the checkout counter as I was standing there about to put my items there. They actually served her instead of asking her to get in line like everyone else who was waiting. Unbelievable. I left without buying my items.

They don't answer the phone so you can ask a question before going all the way there. Phone rings 10 times , then a busy signal.

I like dollar general but these workers here are RUDE! They having inappropriate conversations with their friends on FaceTime & the worker was saying the n word constantly, she not black at that. The workers are having inappropriate conversations about who is being fired and they were cursing and carrying on. The lady at the cash register didn't even let me put my phone number in &told me to push my items to her very rudely. New workers need to be hired and new management need to be put in place.

Cashier Chantel was friendly she was the only one working the register,she answered all my questions and did it with a smile on her face the whole time .

If there's 2 registers open it's one cash the other credit and if you want to make a complain on their websites they charge $5 and most of the time the machine is down its only cash it's frustrating
