Fast service , guy on register is fast, good products, price is ok, give them raise so they smile more, it's a lot of work on the register and don't make mistakes 😍💯

Security employee D......after screaming at a Spanish speaking elder lady about the leave a bag process...I don't understand why he was screaming the whole time..walked up to her in a threatening manner screaming he don't care...please check your cameras..next he argued with customer behind elderly lady then I stepped in...when he picked her in Spanish to go away...I asked D.....you speak Spanish he replied yes...I question why didn't you speak in Spanish from beginning for her to understand?... Very disrespectful tone and reply. My mom's 66 yrs old and frequent this store...he better never scream at my mother like that.

I hate to bring this to the internet because this store carries my favorite chips that you can’t find anywhere else but….I gotta keep it real. I came in here yesterday 7/13 looking for snacks to pack for work. I ended up in last aisle near the registers. This specific aisle has the fresh foods like salads, strawberries, bananas, bottled water and refrigerated juices. This same aisle had 1 bag of potatoes left so I picked up the potatoes to see if I wanted it and saw a big roach nest underneath it hiding. It was a whole family of roaches. The big ones that give birth, the medium ones and the tiny babies all piled up on each other under a bag of potatoes. They all began to scatter I couldn’t believe my eyes. Not gonna lie that caught me by surprise so I jumped back and screamed alittle. When I turned around a store employee was right there behind me stocking stuff near that fridge with the premade Starbucks Frappuccino bottles but I didn’t say anything because I feel like they already knew because of course if there’s one roach nest I’m sure more are nearby in another corner. At least their roaches got some type of discipline and hide in one spot when customers are there I guess lmao but all jokes aside y’all gotta fix this asap. Roaches chillin in the open food aisle during the day is crazy. Imagine at night!
Oh yeah another extremely positive thing about this store is the security guard is really kind and always greets you when you walk in. I love his amazing customer service! Please give him a raise! The cashiers are nice too! It’s hard to find this type of customer service in the Bronx so definitely 5 stars for the hardworking employees. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I hope the management buys everyone free lunch they deserve it!

Usually Dollar General is my go to place to buy laundry detergents and dish soap.However last time I went I was shopping for skin care and cosmetics,they have fair skin care but are understocked on cosmetics.Moreover their cosmetic section is blocked off by the shopping carts that are lined up there,making it difficult access cosmetic items.Even though they were understocked I was able to buy some items from this Dollar General location.By all means this store needs to improve on its selection variety as it is low stock on some items.

They almost never have items available. I unknowingly bought a vitamin supplement that has been banned since 2001. I was given a refund and $5 in credit

They got roaches on the food, the fridge smells spoiled, the entire store looks old; nothing like the photos, the floor hasn’t been mopped since they opened. No variety and always low on inventory. BEWARE pick any other place but this specific dollar general, the staff is very unprofessional

Since they opened it at 900 Southern Blvd, The Bronx, NY 10459, I've been going in but today the manager seems like the boyfriend didn't give her anything, he treated me like a thief and he took off the bags empty from shopping and only took them off from me because before When I left I told him that I was leaving the bag for the boyfriend to give him his Easter gift...it's the first time they've called me a thief.
