I love shopping in this store! Great prices and dels all week! The store is never fully stocked but I could understand they be stocking up all day and items just keep selling as they stock up.?

I would've gave less than a star but u can't do that. The line was ridiculous. And to top it off I don't know who she was but the owner needs to have her go back to training. Very unprofessional. She knew it was busy and she just left the other cashier by himself. Her attitude was un called for. Just plain disgusting. . If she's the manager then I don't know what else to say other than replace her or ya going to loss alot of customers.. the only reason I m writing this is for the owners to open their eyes.

WARNING......This was the worst D&G I have ever been in. Price gouging and a rip off. I made a purchase that was clearly labeled $2.29 from the manufacturer. The cashier charged me $2.45. I now understood why he had to scan twice and why there was no paper receipt. I work at the near by hospital and live in Manhattan. I should call the Mayor's office and report the for over charging people. I wish I could give no stars.

Today I had the worse experience at this particular General Dollar, the Cashier/ manager said we had 10 minutes because they were closing soon. When I got to the register to pay she was very unpleasant, stating that I said I was going to purchase a couple of things and that I ended up buying the whole store, then proceeded to complain to a fellow employee that I got her in a bad mood. This is my local store and I am a loyal customer. It's a shame that I had to be dispatched by such an unprofessional and unpleasant employee. Who ended up getting me in a bad mood and making me behave in a verbally aggressive and negative way in response to the disrespectful treatment I received as a customer. My most unpleasant shopping experience at this location since I have been going there. I think that General Dollar should implement giving there employees some customer service training before letting them attend customers in the future.I will be calling the corporate office in reference to this particular incident.

Look it's a great store but my God, what is the point of having 3 cashiers if you're never gonna have them all open....If you're going to this place go as soon as it opens. Once the afternoon hits you'll spend more time waiting on the lines than you did browsing the store.

Great place and prices. Staff is always accessible and friendly the only phenomenon that is so extra is a recording message "reminding to the thieves that there are cameras recording everything so if they try to steal they will get caught...." they play this recording at a much much higher volume, it almost make people stop for a second to pay attention to the loudness bcuz it sounds like an / emergency /evacuation of the building routine. This recording is annoying, the volume raised is also absurd, whoever is gonna steal, will do it regardless with or without recordings
