“This place has been here for a couple decades. They are always pleasant and welcoming. They carry a variety of household necessities, decorations, small appliances, undergarments, personal hygiene products, toys and gift items. They even have some beautiful plants. They have clothing and house shoes. There's honestly too much to list here. You have to check your bags in but don't be offended, so many stores in the area have had to close due to incessant shoplifting.”
“This dollar always has what I need, surprisingly I’ve never been when the boxes are blocking the aisles. I’ve been to other dollar trees that are consistently like this and it annoys me, because the aisles are blocked off. But Westchester Square Dollar Tree is always clean and shelves stocked! The lines are crazy sometimes, which is why I rated 4/5, but the staff gets them moving and people out the store. I’ve never met an employee not helpful in this dollar tree! One of my top 5s in the area for sure!”
“This Dollar Tree is super well stocked. It has everything from gardening supplies, party supplies, cleaning supplies, cold food (the refrigerators are full and the aisle is long, offering a lot of variety), sausages, pizza, juices, cooking supplies, personal hygiene items, canned goods, a variety of foods, crafts, beauty products, tools, and much more. They have tons of $1.25 items and other price points too. Their aisles are packed, so leave your carts at the entrance. The bus stop is close by. BX 30, BX 23, BX 26, BX 28. There are convenience stores nearby. I really enjoyed this ?DOLLAR TREE?”
“Everything you need is in this store. Minus excellent customer service. They follow you throughout the store. Thinking you gonna pocket something? They so used to New York people doing so.”
“I think this one of the best ones I've shopped at in the Bronx It is the store closest to St. Ann's Ave. It's a large store, well kept, good inventory and the staff are nice. This location typically has items that I don't find at other locations.”

“It's a good replacement for a Dollar Tree for the area, at least they sell things for 1.25 (the new dollar apparently) but check the expiration dates on stuff before you buy. I bought some snacks and had to exchange them cuz they were expired. But they gave me no issues since I had the receipt. Their return policy is only 7 days though psh so make sure to notice on time ?”
“They have everything organized the customer service is great they always help u with what ur looking for they have great things i also got those super soft and pretty fur throw for the bed it's so soft great material and I got a small cute pink one for my daughter”
“I shop at this store all the time, the have pretty much everything even furniture and mattress at a great price.I bought several pcs of furniture and mattresses from them and they were great, good quality.They make you feel welcome, I highly recommend this store.”
“They had my diet Dr pepper( hard to find in my area), my boxes of chocolate movie theater candy. Different varieties for 1.25. The only thing I couldn't find was my whatchamacallit candy bar. I find them there. Something else that's hard to find in my area.”

“The store is packed with boxes and customers. Another small store because they have to much stuff. They have allot of useful things for all around your house and the care of yourself including food. They accept EBT and cash. I go here all the time. Going alone is better”
“I’m only giving this store 5 stars because Amanda was very nice and welcoming it’s nice to get greeted when you walk in that’s the only reason why I’m giving this store 5 stars the rest is for FAMILY DOLLAR Corporate please make it make sense. Why do you guys advertise coupons in the app but it is not redeemable in store and you can’t call Family Dollar because no one ever picks up so again why do you have coupons in the app that don’t correlate with the store a customer should be able to purchase things in store using the coupons that are offered on the app. Make it make sense. Family Dollar do better. You have prices advertise online and you can’t even redeem them when you go in store. How does that elevate the shopping experience do better make the coupons correlate to the items that are in store what’s the point of advertising it on app and don’t offer order online and pick up in store because this location doesn’t do that and I don’t believe any other location does that don’t advertise something and then not live up to it DO BETTER!!!!!”

“HEADS UP there’s one new tall slim new manager that’s very rude very very rude basically through my money at me for no reason he was upset I needed refund and yes I understand it was busy but there is no need no any one to mistreat a daily customer the way he did . He’s a new manager I get it the job is frustrating but if u can’t not handle it then don’t work in retail find a home job or office job so you don’t have to deal with customers. I see the employees trying their best in doing what they can but this manager is overwhelmly RUDE!!!! I love this store the employees are very friendly and do help BUT HE HAS TO OR HE HAS TO BE SPOKEN TOOOOOOO!!!!”

“I was able to find some of the items I was looking for however I witnessed 3 different people in the store stealing shelves of items like toothpaste, soaps etc. and walking right out the store. It’s so sad how blatant thieves have become.”
“Never had a problem until just a few minutes ago, I literally said have a nice day while checking out and ole girl goes “umm hmm yea” with an attitude like I was bothering her lol. Always the same female with her nasty attitude also. Other than her constant negative attitude/anger it’s usually a nice store from my experience.”
“Like to acknowledge Michael Rivera: I shop this Prospect Ave location at least once weekly since it’s arrival and while I almost always take the time to rate my experience at the register, today I took notice that although Michael was on another register he multi-tasks the entire store at times from managing, stocking, register etc. keeping the store in great shape functioning well with items sufficiently stocked, lines move very quickly when he’s managing and if there’s something out of stock he commits to getting it in quickly not to mention he’s pleasant to customers. I just needed to share my consistent experience with the company as this location has changed employees and management several times and while never previously really bad just noticing it’s always a pleasant experience lately.

“First time I came here, it smelled like pee and they didn't have lots of stuff, but today I went in there and they changed a lot! They gave better stuff and thry improved the store. Only thing I feel bad is that people try to steal in there and I saw the police arresting them. We can't have nice things ?
I was so happy with the cooking section and they have new face stuff, the prices went up, but that is not a bad thing because you're getting better products and it helps to improve the store. I'll travail the journey to come back here, since the dollar tree near me closed (again, so much stealing, it's sad)”

They have a wide variety of household necessities, person necessities, decorations, and bedding. They have storage solutions for food and personal items. They also carry luggage and duffle bags. There are some food items and snacks. They carry gift items as well. It's always a pleasure visiting this store.”
