Now see, usually I appreciate this store bc it offers things my local store runs out of.
It's 8:52pm on a Friday night & the location is supposed to close at 9pm. I arrived at the location at 8:45pm and tried to open the door. I thought the wind was too strong so I pulled harder, to no avail.
There was a security guard there & motioning that the store is closed. I'm showing him the time. He agrees & proceeds to repeat his motions. He's talking behind the glass & motions to the cashier & continues to tell me it's closed.
I'm an understanding person and I appreciate dollar tree. So I walk to the window to see if maybe there was already a long line or something.
4 workers in the store and 0 customers.
1 is babysitting a cart full of items while eating a bagged snack.
1 is pushing a cart down a aisle, I suppose doing restock for the day though I am unsure.
What surprised me most was the woman at the cashier's station, but outside of it, putting items into a bag for them to take.
So the workers closed the store early to get goods for themselves? I'm very confused and theyl workers all made as if they didn't see me at the window, minus the initial glance.
If you want to close the store early, I assume that's your prerogative. But you should inform people of that so they don't trek more than a half hour in the cold to be turned away from an establishment that should be open.
As someone who loves reviewing establishments I frequent, the workers at this location had quite a lot of audacity.
And if Headquarters allows this behavior to continue, I'm going all out.
I also will mention that I have arrived at this location many times before , between 8:40and 8:55 and not once was the door locked. This is unacceptable

The store is a mess!! Everything is all out of place on the shelves. Nothing is in order. 1 cashier, then she stops in the middle of you paying for your merchandise to go and put things away. Leaves you standing their.

I find what I need for the most part. Selection is large and staff is reasonably nice BUT not useful or interested in doing work; it's a DISASTER. Stuff all over the floor like your literally stepping over things to walk through isles and be ready to spend AT LEAST 30 minute's on line. Only ever 2 cash registers at most.

This is the worst Dollar Tree I have ever been to. I know it's a few days after Xmas but the store looks like a tornado came through and they don't have anything. Management should ha e prepared a little better.

The worse..very little inventory..shelves very empty. Manager verbally attacked my shoplifter who is apparently a regular shoplifter. smell of pure bleach when you walk in and staff pouring pur bleach to floor..no wet caution signs

Good day. I left this shop about 15 minutes ago. While I was proceeding to the cashier who is a middle age lady asked her supervisor for a break , mind me this is the second time that same individual did that to me. She asked if I need bags I said let’s wait to see how much my stuff come up to then I will buy a bag I did same bought 2 bags. She clear her area so I asked her mam can you help me pack my stuff , because it’s not only 1 item it’s many she turned to me with a nasty attitude she on a break. I called out the supervisor who were on the other cashier seeing other customers. I showed her my grocery stuff and explained to her it’s not the first time that lady treated me in disgust I further told her I don’t know her why treat someone with disrespect and disgust. After she finished she would go right outside to smoke. This time she went across the street. I have to watch my back when going to that store that woman have a nasty attitude not once but twice.

This is my neighborhood Dollar Tree in The Bronx. It's OK when they have merchandise but sometimes the store is hard to shop when everything is in the aisles unpacked. They do the best they can but a lot of theft goes on in there and it's a shame. I hope they stay in business 🙏 but when you don't have security or loss prevention it poses a serious problem. 😐

This is the worst Dollar Tree I have ever been to. There are piles of items that are out of stock still sitting in boxes that have not been put up for months since I moved near this location. Several aisles are "closed" due to workers not stocking items in a timely manner. This location is also very unorganized and dirty and it seems as if they do no closing duties prior to end of day. Please don't waste your time and come here, you will not find what you need.

Dollar tree step up your game!! Install cameras and security guards, so ppl will stop stealing. This is the 2nd store I've been too in the area.. after the store closed on E233st. Stop shutting down the stores. clean up the place it's absolutely unsanitary &disgusting.. the staff are lazy rude disrespectful and very unprofessional. I have visited other dollar trees in suburban areas were mainly Caucasian ppl live.. and oh boy! is it's a drastic difference from what I see in urban areas.

Ghetto staff. How are you going to close in the middle of a line? Telling people that they can't purchase because one of the cashiers has an emergency? There's only two people on staff and the other one was too lazy to take care of the customers. Why aren't there more cashiers?

It’s always empty some items stocked up are expired the lines are always long but it’s a cheap place to get the things your looking for
