Dollar Tree in the Bronx is a go-to store for affordable, everyday essentials. It offers thrilling finds including household staples, health and beauty products, cleaning supplies, party essentials, food and drinks, toys, and seasonal décor. The store is fairly stocked with a good selection and has name brands and great snacks, including personal drinks at low prices. It opens early and closes late. However, the store is usually crowded at varying hours, with aisles often crowded with boxes, making it hard to get items. Staffing has improved, but sometimes staff members are rude or are not courteous. Workers often do not know where items are, and some customers can be nasty and belligerent. A major flaw is a mandatory five-cent bag fee charged even if a bag is not accepted. Prices have been raised a little at a time. Overall, there is no reliably good time to visit; you just go and hope for the best.
$Tree has become common. There are name brands there, and some great snacks. But like every other business prices have been raised a little at a time. Soon they will price themselves out of most people's budgets.

In comparison to some other dollar trees near by this one is fairly stocked and has a good selection. What stores nowadays don't need improvement but life to short to be complaining.
December 2023
Because of the short staff a lot of the supplies were still in boxes in the aisles. This happened after several visits to the store. However despite all of that most of the cashier staff is really nice and friendly. But be prepared because the shelves are 50/50% bare.
