When it comes to shoes and some accessories, your more than likely to find something for you. As an average size woman you will be able to find something to your liking, but as for the plus size woman... you will find you experience to somewhat underwhelming. There are options, but nothing compared to the smaller size section which take up 95% of the stores main level, and just a small section in the back of the store for plus size. The customer Service is always nice enough. I've never had much of an issue with anyone there

Worst experience. I went in casually to browse with daughter for summer clothes and all of a sudden the manager store is seen arguing loudly with a customer. The manager was cursing ?. I was in total shock. Very unprecedented and unprofessional to say the least. The store looked empty and messy.

*****BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION****I’ve shopped at Easy pickins for many years specifically the Southern Blvd location in the Bronx, most of the time my experience was good but today was one of the most humiliating experiences I’ve had at Easy Pickins and it will be my last time shopping with the company. I came to Easy pickins to find a pair of flats for work since spring is close by in a few weeks. I was trying on various sizes of a specific flat shoe because i noticed the cut of the shoe is a bit small. One of the employees came and stood next to me as I was trying on the shoes without asking me if I needed any help. She just stood next to me on her phone while side eyeing me and gave off the impression, I’m watching you so you don’t do anything wrong, so I said to her, how can I assist you because the encounter made me feel very uncomfortable while I was shopping and there were other customers in the shoe section that were shopping and were not being attended to making me feel like I was singled out for this particular reason. I picked the shoes and took it to the cashier and paid for it. I asked to speak to the manager. To add insult to injury, the manager told me that what her employee did was standard protocol and I shouldn’t even take this incident personal unless I came into the store to actually do something wrong. As a black woman not only did this make me feel very uncomfortable but it’s actually disgusting that a store establishment should even assume that all people of color come into a store to steal. There is security sitting on a ladder before you even enter and leave the store. so they will notice if they see something is wrong within the store. Just as many other reviewers have mentioned, this location takes pride in making black customers feel uncomfortable shopping, it’s not worth it. There are plenty of other stores on the Blvd where managers and employees are respectful of all races and a customer’s shopping experience but this establishment isn’t one of them. I will no longer feel comfortable returning to this location nor Easy pickins for that matter. Good shoes for budget prices but it’s not worth the harassment from employees nor management staff.
