I'm sad that your strawberries gave my daughter food poisoning and I have to now take her to the hospital because she's vomiting everywhere. This is the only supermarket that doesn't skim your EBT in my area, can't even get fresh fruit without traveling out of my way. Same with the cut fruits, they hide the mold in between so you don't see it till you get home and wasting $14 a tray is too much to have to deal with that, especially when you're doing special fasts and religious rituals, just very painful and sad to see that this is how they do business, and now my daughter is ill because they are selling expired fruit

Do not go to this supermarket. They have a very limited selection. Also the staff doesn’t speak English.

The staff is rude. The selection is terribles the produce is always bad. The meat looks halfway rotten. I stopped at the market for last minute things and I was offended that this place could still be open with the terrible prices, bad customer service, and already rotting food.

There are most likely card skimmers present here. Aunt made a purchase and ended up with her card somehow being used in an Amazon purchase and also used in a new jersey supermarket.

I bought bread here and it was not fresh at all now I’m here doing my recycling and they don’t care the person here doing the recycling I had to call four time for someone to come help me and then the woman tell me I can’t call the phone for the bottles/ recycling machine out side like really lady isn’t business I’m conducting like it’s not run buy you guys they just this stick behavior like they all that and they don’t know nothing About me or other people. Kmft worst place that only care mostly about their race smh but we all equal. Trying to spite me like really even tho I told them my kids are in the car and I can’t come in side but he came out and did everyone and left mine for last smh.

Most of the time when an item is on sale the store doesn’t honor it at the register. Purchased the fantastik cleaner & the rude manager said that the lemon is excluded from the sale. Horrible.

I’ve been meaning to leave this review for a while. The supermarket is not good. Over priced, produce that are expired/going bad often being sold. I’ve had to go back to the supermarket on numerous occasions because food was expired, had freezer burn, holes in bags. If that wasn’t enough, not all but some of the employees pick and choose whose bags they want to pack when you bring your own reusable bags. I was just there today and the cashier didn’t help to pack my bag but the cashier beside her helped pack her customers reusable bag. I don’t want to pull the race card but sometimes I do think it’s race based. It’s not the first time I’ve gone and certain cashiers won’t pack my bag (typically the same ones). If this wasn’t the nearest market I wouldn’t come here. Honestly may just start going elsewhere

They sell expired meats and certain foods. Always double check the expiration date. The groceries aren’t entirely fresh all the time.

I come here for years for the convenience, few times I buy chicken here in desperate last minute cases and Im really tired of buying rotten chicken. the top of the chicken looks decent but when u open and turn it over it reaks and looks rotten. They lie about packaging dates I always have to return Idk why I have faith in buying their meat in emergency cases. Management does care of the repeated complaints These people are terrible for selling meat and vegetables that expire sooner than dated worst fine fare in the Bronx.

This is the only supermarket that is on Mount eden and I wish there was a better one with more items and lesser prices. This is not a store you want to shop at because of how they don’t change anything. I was looking for pasta sauce and came across this moldy jar as well as the ones next to it. I was nice enough to bring it up to the cashier which then told the manager. He straight up lied to my face and said that the jar had been opened and closed again and that’s why there was mold in it. The jar had never been opened and the seal was not popped. Truly disgusting! You don’t want to purchase fresh produce from here!! Please shop at your own risk.
