I was in the Fordham area and I stumbled upon this supermarket. I come from Pelham Bay, and I was looking for a place to eat lunch. Someone told me that I could get lunch here. I've never been happier. I got a delicious salad and I was able to sit and eat it. I also found some cleaning products that for the life of me I can't find in Key Food or Food Town, the stores closest to me. Hopefully this store will open up in Pelham Bay. It's a great store!

You need to install wired scanner readers at the self check out, for the heavy items, like the one in target, it convenient for the customer, employee and even the register machine.

Surprisingly decent supermarket on Jerome Avenue right off of Fordham Road. I pick up my produce from there specifically, as they're the only supermarket in the area with good quality romaine lettuce, spinach and other vegetables and fruits. Good sales, too, although they're usually a bit pricey otherwise. Staff is usually nice. Kudos to the management for keeping their store in nice shape with good, fresh products!

Great selection of groceries. There's also a meat market in the back. But the staff needs to be trained in English to help out customers instead of ignoring me when I have a question about an itemBut the store is always immaculate

We used the market for catering services for my company's business meeting and the food and service were exceptional! The catering manager Daniel was super helpful throughout the process and we got everything we asked for such a short notice (literally a day before) Everything was made fresh and wrapped very nicely. I will definitely use them again for future services.

Your employee have a problem with racial profiling within your store. It’s been two times that’s your employee have ask me for my receipt, while they seen me paying at the check out( not the self check aisle). If your security saw me paying at the aisle on the camera why followed me outside and ask for my receipt. And you may disagree with me on this, but why didn’t your security guard stop the other Mexican lady who paid on the same aisle I was. But choose to stop me and not her.

Ridiculously high prices for moldy and unattractive spoiled fruits and vegetables. The employees make up prices at the food bar, one day its one price the next its another; with no signs to comfirm.

A tad pricey but a great selection. Neat and organized. Helped out in a pickle, when it was 9pm and needed to get last minute groceries

I’ve lived on this block for the past 10 years, when it used to be Morton Williams…My rating depends on the days and the workers. They’re most days where the workers just seem like they absolutely don’t want to be there, especially the cashiers, with that being said… one of the more easier jobs. Every person who stocks up the aisles are very kind and helpful. Also the people who are in the meat packing or grocery side are kind. But most of the time the cashier ladies are rude. I was there a few days ago and I saw a register that was empty, I asked the girl if she was open, she made direct eye contact with me and she then proceeded to ignore me and talk to her coworkers in Spanish as if I couldn’t understand her. I asked her once more if she was open and then again. A total of three times and she tells me to go to another register. There was another time where I had a girl with a pixie cut, she usually works there at night. This particular day I got there close to closing because I get out of work very late, I’m at her register and she’s talking to the security guards and her other fellow coworkers and is absolutely ignoring me. And as she scans my items she pauses in between every item. I guess her conversation was more important than her job. I get it, it’s late and you want to go home. But it isn’t the hardest job.Another altercation, one day I was buying a couple of items, and I had an older lady attending me. I proceeded to tell her that I will be paying with some coins because I am trying to get rid of them. She sighs very loudly, as if she were annoyed. I don’t understand why these cashier register workers have to be rude.As for security… management if you are reading my review please hire another security company. I have had many times where the security guards are either flirting or just being rude. The other day I was with my nephews, and I was going to the supermarket. I know the entrance is closer by panda express, but as I looked at the exit, I saw a lady with three kids entering with a cart. The security looked at her and lets her go so because I have my nephews, I thought it would be easier to just enter with them through the exit, instead of walking with them further down by Panda Express, as I’m entering, the security guard puts his hand in my face and tells me that I can’t enter. I asked him why not and he said because this is the exit, I then told him OK, but you let the other lady in with her kids, how come you can’t let me in? He hesitated and let me answer. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m a different nationality and she was the same race as him but it sure felt like it. I’d definitely give security 1 star out of 5.I’m sure they are more altercations that mom can tell me but that would probably be many more paragraphs, as my mom has said to me that she won’t be buying from this supermarket anymore because everyone is usually rude to her. She will be purchasing from the supermarket up the block on Davidson. All I have to say is I’ve worked many jobs. Right now I’m a server at a restaurant in TSQ Which has high crowds. I’ve had many rude guest but my job is to assure they have a great experience. As a supermarket it’s disappointing how un satisfied I feel after checking out that supermarket. Hopefully things get better.
