Terrible customer service. My receipt says the employee's name is Harmonie. I asked her a question about a game and she started giving me an attitude. I tried to buy four different games and three out of four were missing so I only got one. She just laughed about it. I didn't think it was funny. This happens too often. The games are locked in drawers. If they are missing, it's the employees. And the customers suffer for it. I only came here because the other two locations I would buy from have closed down. When I order online, I never get all the items. But this is the last straw for me.

There’s no way one of the more Major GameStop locations in the Bronx is receiving less TCG inventory than a local Card shop. Especially after Pokemon announced they are printing a lot more of the new “prismatic evolution” set not to mention the “blooming waters” box. STOP LETTING YOUR EMPLOYEES TAKE ALL THE INVENTORY, thats supposed to be left for customers aside from pre orders. Its frustrating that people are taking hours out of their day to actually put in the footwork to obtain these products just to be let down when the employee opens and tells us “Sorry there’s only 3 or 4 boxes available everyone else can go home” many customers are already hip to the fact that inventory is being scalped by staff rather than left for customers. You really expect us to believe the most major traffic location is getting only “1 piece of each product” really ridiculous and time wasting for many. Wouldn’t recommend coming here for any drops if u actually want to get your hands on something. 🚮

I went there on Saturday afternoon and the young lady was very rude and when I ask for a 30$ print out for psn she said no she can't do it that I have to be a pro member but I can get a $50 one !! That is ridiculous and she also said that's the policy but never herd that at any other gamestop!! Making pay more for something they don't need!! They should close all game stops yall are pathetic and that's why this store brand going out of business

Came here to get some games and the first guy at the register tried to add warranty charge onto games even though I said no. Then they did not apply my pro member discount. Why else would buy anything here if you’re gonna pull that kind of stuff.

I went here Sunday 9/22/24 at around 5pm. The two workers there were so nice to me and amazing. I had an incident with a bakery that failed me with the decoration and I was looking for Lord of The Rings related stuff. They found me stuff that was perfect, and even helped me through my pro membership. The girl came through on a clutch, so nice and helpful and the young guy was a sweetheart. I have been coming here since I was a kid and it’s cause of the workers like them that I’ll shed a tear for when it’s gone, as have the other stores. Please let this last gem of a Gamestop remain for a few more year. It is a staple for the gaming community.

Went to go buy a ps5 console here one time and a guy employee told me they didn’t have any bags and just sold it to me. HOW DO YOU NOT HAVE ANYMORE BAGS?! Especially for consoles. Had to get in a cab because there is NO WAY I could carry a whole ps5 around Fordham Road. They didn’t even give me a warranty. Had to come back and get one.

If you re shopping with your neurodivergent child, don’t expect them to greet you when you enter because no one is on the sales floor. Don’t expect to be charged for the price that the tags says because it’s scanned higher at the register, oh yea and expect them to insult you and say it’s your fault you don’t read the label, it’s your fault that you didn’t ask for help. They will also gang up on you and your child. They escalated so much panic and confusion, with my child over a mislabeled item that I stood in shock as a male employee came rushing to me while I was leaving the store. Knowing video games are a great sensory activity, they ruined a shopping experience with my son and I…As I stood on the public sidewalk to calm down, they proceeded to open their door and asked why did I cry over there bullying, after that associate said “you act like we don’t have your card I formation and proceeded to call me by another customer name…the threat sounded as if the associate can steal identity…I can’t make this up…I stood out side the store angry over their treatment on the public street and perhaps because they felt guilty for being so I ethical…was followed by the store associate offering the return that I asked for. The same employees work there and you can go there to the store and see how unethical they are. Trigger warning, they will be ugly and rude.
