DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!I want to start my review by saying that without Devan I would’ve never been able to fix all the errors that my insurance company created when submitting the rental agreement. Errors that were obligating me to pay out of pocket and also prohibiting me from keeping the car for a fair amount of time as entitled to do so under a full coverage policy dealing with car loss due to theft. He made it his business and in the most professional manner rectified the mess someone else created (State Farm) providing me with the best outcome possible. So I will end my review by saying that I’m extremely grateful and could not be happier with the service he rendered in this unpleasant situation. Amazing employees you have HERTZ but Devan is the best!

My issue is with Hertz the corporation. I urge everyone to avoid Hertz at all costs. Save yourself the stress, disappointing customer service, and the disaster that is Hertz Rentals. There is an ENTERPRISE CAR RENTAL next door that will take care of you with excellent service. Save your time and energy by making a reservation there.

I'm very upset with this car rental hertz I rent a car from hertz on December 20 I had the car for three days my deposit was $279.06 and the cost for the three days was $63.00 my discover card was charge on December 19 279.06 before the date that I rent the car and I still not credit my deposit. I keep call their customer service number no response it's being over a month and the deposit is still on my card and it have nothing to do with the discover bank I call and dispute the transaction even discover call and not getting through to you guys . Also i have being charge for toll and i had ezpass. you guys are the worst and all I need is my money. I wouldn't recommend any one to rent cars fromyou .your customer service is so bad.and if by this week this don't get fix I will contact better business bureau .

Staff with a horrible nasty attitude and a power trip. They don’t hide this. The place is a hit or miss and do not seem to know actual Hertz policies. No help at all. I rented their filthy cars almost every month and sometimes you have friendly staff. Today it was not one of those days. Not recommended if you want to be treated with courtesy and respect.

This is a Hertz in name only , the customer service exhibited by the customer agents this past weekend was very poor and I don't blame them I don't believe they have received the proper training from management.I've rented from Hertz in Westchester and Manhattan and the customer service is night and day. Customers in the Bronx deserve better our money spends just like everyone else's money.

I had a nice experience. They were quick and efficient. My car was clean, the guys and girl were friendly and the guy the closed me out was super professional. The rental rate was good. If I had that price all the time I wouldn’t shop anywhere else for rental.Thanks again!

very bad experience they never told me about toll they didn't tell me that I shouldn't use oh that there was some charge and I used it 2 times in the mario cuomo and then they sent me an email saying that I was debiting 504 dollars and they made the payment without my authorization from me card

If you pickup or drop off at Stillwell Avenue you might get to meet Devon. Devon is like the Old Days when People came to work to WORK⚒ and not to socialize? & capitalize?. This is a person who is doing his best to have a productive day, He knows his and others jobs well enough to prevent total chaos when customers & coworkers?? clash , as they did on my visit when an angry couple felt overcharged?. Thanks to Devon all waiting parties felt heard and heck I was a bystander and now can get better help and understanding of my rental purchases. Thank you again to Deion?? and the team ??he rallied to support helping the Situation end quickly. I hope I got his name correct. Hertz Stillwell Avenue.

Watch any car rental place especially hurts. What took my daughter-in-law to get a car. Brought it back trying to say we did damage to the bumper. The person didn't even walk around and let her sign a release saying that the car was okay but lucky I had a picture of it. The damage was already there. They're trying to charge her insurance so be careful. Hertz every any place once scam a penny here a nickel there is up to millions

I have called the Stillwell Ave. location 4 times and left messages. It has been an inconvenience no one is available to answer phones or supply an insurance card that is not expired to give to authorities @ police check points.

I've rented here a few times already and at this point ive become aware that the manager special will always be a pick up truck. I asked if there was anything else and of course I was told no. Luckily I was able to cancel my reservation with no penalty but when I went back online to see what was available there were many options unfortunately it was going to be expensive due to the fact that it is the same day reservation. Even with seeing how upset and uncomfortable I was driving that car no accommodations was attempted to be made considering I rent there sooo many times. I'm better off going back to the airport like I used to do

9/8/23, 6:15pm...Past experiences have been fine. My return time was 6pm Friday. I got here at 6:15pm and they turned me away. No grace period. They were already to go in their vehicle. No courtesy whatsoever. They offered to take the car back and close me out for the next day at my expense. Its Friday evening and raining, yet no courtesy.
