J-Ray was the most experienced mechanic I've ever known. I was a client for some ten years. He was meticulous, trustworthy and pleasant. His work was always top notch. I wish him a pleasant retirement. The current owners, D&G led by David, and associate, is a great replacement for this neighborhood. They are talented and experiened as well. He charges fair prices and explains his work.

I wouldn't trust my car to anyone else. Jray is an amazing mechanic. I've been bringing my car to him for years and I am thrilled with the service that I have received. Do yourself a favor and take your car to jray.

Called here a couple of time for a quote before doing work. He always quotes the highest prices as if he add a 100$ on the average. Maybe his work is good idk

J ray auto his been around since 1971. Wow! He been doing a great job. Honest, he will check the car before he tell you a pries before he fix it and give you a great deal that he can find. Stand up type of guy who also guarantees his work. Haven't met too many mechanics like that in new York City! Oh! P.s he from the old block! ;) .

Found J-ray's thru google reviews, went and got my car's muffler fixed in less than two hours and without putting a dent in my wallet. Being a female it's nice to know there is a mechanic in my neighborhood that won't take advantage of that and over charge me. Ray was very knowledgeable and willing to explain to me in terms that I would understand. I'll definitely recommend him to everyone I know.

Ray is an excellent technician, truly a master of his trade!, He is very thorough, honest and professional with both his diagnostics and his repairs. My 12 year old truck with 185,000 miles is running like it did when I drove it out of the showroom!! Thanks J-Ray!!!

I have been taking all my vehicles to J-Ray since 1993. He is very professional telling you exactly what it takes to fix your car. What I liked about J-Ray he shows you the ruin part removed from your car and points out where the damage was done on the part. He tells you how to avoid ruing that part again. J-Ray will keep you up on any recalls for your vehicle.

I have had the pleasure of having JRay as my mechanic for the last 15 years or more. My mom introduced me to him. He has been proven to be an honest and very dependable mechanic. I wouldn't trade him for anyone else. His prices are reasonable and I trust him. He gets the best prices and does the work in a very timely manner. Being a female and not knowing the logistics of car care, he takes time to explain to me what needs to be done and what it may cost. I appreciate that. Considering most mechanics today will ripoff women. Again I trust him and wouldn't trade him for anyone. Thank you Jay.

I've been a client of J-Ray for quite a few years now and I wouldn't trust my car to anyone else. He's completely transparent. He lets you know what repairs are needed and provides a quote prior to making them. Repairs are done with a reasonable turnaround time and at a reasonable cost. My father recommended J to me and it's one of the best legacies he's ever left me. Would definitely recommend.
