I bought 4 items 3/29/25. Didn’t realize until I got inside that 2 of the items were completely compromised. One half quart of the Tropicana Orange Juice I bought cap was broken exposing the seal from one side to the next. Undrinkable and never opened. A small carton of blackberries I bought after closer inspection was compromised by mold. I checked them in store but not close enough. Wasn’t able to return them next day due to work and busy schedule. Come in 3/31/25 to do a simple exchange- had my receipt and everything. The cashier not even paying attention almost swiped my items before I made it clear I wanted an exchange. Tell and show her the compromised items. She calls over some grey haired short dude, who also wasn’t paying attention, and on the phone at that- looks at my items, doesn’t check date or see what’s wrong. Says since the juice is warm, “it’s no good” doesn’t even bother to listen to me. Sees fruit carton- opens the carton and just makes some gesture still saying “no good”. I’m going back and forth trying to explain to him and cashier I want to exchange those items- he’s walking away not listening keeps saying “no good” x4, RAISING HIS TONE-dismissing me and not giving me either refund or exchange. I end up PAYING AGAIN for the items I wanted to exchange the compromised ones with STILL. No refund or exchange at all, cashier was no help either.
NEVER wasting my money somewhere that can’t upkeep with the quality of items they have and do their due diligence to FIFO/ throw out expired ones. And thinking on it more, had I brought that broken sealed juice back cold- was it going to go back on the SHELF AGAIN??? first and last time I have an issue with them. Go to the store down the block their better and not racist/ prejudice!!

Lady that handed me my bag started complaining of why I shopped at the new supermarket a few stores down and came back to their store. Maybe there’s things they sell that you don’t have and vice versa but your nasty attitude just lost you a couple of customers

Every time you buy meats from here you have to use it asap I literally bought pork chops yesterday and they turned already smh the store is very clean and the workers are nice tho

Very rude people. And that sandy, a guy who discriminates and has no respect at all. I don't know how they accept that kind of people in that place. It's a shame that a Supermarket is and has those types of people who think they're great and superior.

On the website it says that they are close at 8. When I get there they tell me they close at 7:45. Then change the time on your website. This is such an inconvenience

I’m a costumer for many years, no complaints at all, good service, great quality and price of everything, including fresh produce and meats, excellent, I love it, I don’t change this supermarket for another one like Cosco, BJ’s, I am a Happy customer, thanks Bonita

This is a small store with variety of food amenities.They are offering good price in some products.Fruits and vegetables are fresh than other local groceries.

Hello I'm Tamara the black girl at the register who dresses Nice n always greets customers with a smile n good morning/afternoon. I came into work 1-day Sandy told me due to the place being overstaffed he had to let go one person from the deli 1 from the floor and one person from the register being that I was new he let me go. Sandy and Angela were both in the office and we're both there and Sandy had told me that he has to lay me off I was a great worker I did nothing wrong they just don't have enough money to pay all the workers and that because of my outstanding performance at work he will give me a recommendation letter. so I collected my check and I left. After two weeks of calling the store texting his personal cell phone and no return calls when I made it back to New York I went to the store to ask why am I getting a run around for a recommendation letter that he'd promised he would give me In Front of cashier Angela that's the one with the thinning hair on top of her head. When I did come to the store to get the letter Angela was acting very funny, and Sandy was hiding down in the basement. He had me wait for about 30 to 35 minutes to come upstairs, as if I wasn't the worker that he just told did a great job did nothing wrong and he would gladly give a recommendation letter to. but when it was time to get the recommendation letter I never received the recommendation letter and when I came back, there were two new Spanish workers. While I was working there the ladies never liked to speak English, they was rude to the customers, they never smile and talked about everybody and each other like they were in high school. This place is very racist there's only one black girl working there and she is very rude that's the very big girl, she's very rude, and customers always came to me and told me about how rude shantiqua is. After getting the runaround and after Angela coming upstairs and telling Sandy (after me waiting 35 minutes) that I was putting on a show for the store I felt very disrespected, I did get out of character but I think it was well deserved. Th store will give you old fruit,old meat, stuff with holes in it and if you don't see it they will let you buy it that's how bad the customer service is in this store and again their racist. Please any customers that remember me please write a review . I also have video proof and pictures, and I'm planning on taking this to court. And the reason why I'm not getting the recommendation letter is because Sandy you can't explain how you laid me off if I'm a great worker.
