Next time you shop there, take a photo of the sale prices on the shelves before you get to the register. They had a sale on something, 2/$5. When they rang it up, it was 2/$6. I told the cashier it was wrong and I saw what the sign said. She ran to the manager, the manager pulled a stock guy to the side and had him quickly change the signs which were up late. . They made me take it for the higher price or nothing at all. With that said, I rarely go to that store due to its rotting food and high prices. Only thing is, I can find some ethnic products I can't find in other stores.

As a customer, you must always check the expiration dates. They sell expired food all the time. Sale items most of them are expired! Vegetables are overpriced! And I must look to see if they are not spoiled. To be a supermarket for the community, they don't service the community right. Especially the seniors who can get out to other supermarkets.

To: Management and staff of Food Universe Marketplace, Einstein loop
Please give accurate information to customers.
I needed a digital coupon for a purchase and was told that it is on the Key Food App. I went into the App Store and about five Key Food App came up. I ask the manager which one should I use. She told me anyone. Turns out none of those apps had anything to do with anything.
Once I got home, I went to the food universe website, signed up for an account, and was able to find the digital coupon. I then entered the barcode number on the back of my store card and was then able to add the coupon to my card.
Why do they not know this?

Being a short person the boxes of tissues are always on the top shelves. How about putting some down where the paper napkins are and the store brand tissues too. People don't like sugary soda most buy diet, you can see that so stock more diet.

I'm sorry to leave one star-This store should have -0 STARS!! I purchased a coconut custard pie for $7.99, not cheap for a supermarket pie. I got home and cut the pie, but it was too hard... I then returned to the store for a refund-the manager Philipe said since I opened the pie, he could not give me a refund. After going bananas, I got my full refund-Philipe said next time 'don't open the pie if you want a refund'... I'm convinced he's crazy!! He tried to say the pie was frozen, mind you the pie was located with a bunch of other pies by the cash register and was not located in the frozen section. Plus, I've purchased this pie from other supermarkets and it was always ready to eat... I've made complaints with the BBB and the Department of Agriculture. People DON'T take anyone's mess when you know you're RIGHTS!!

Terrible terrible community supermarket. Over multiple years and multiple occasions, I have brought product that either was expired by date and quality, or had an expiration date that had not yet passed , yet I open the package and it is very clearly moldy. I just accidentally ate this horribly moldy bread and I am so upset I will never go there again and neither should anyone else. To add insult to injury, they won't do returns if you don't have the receipt as if we all keep our paper receipts from the local grocery store. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I purchased a coconut custard pie for $7.99. When I took the pie home and cut it, it was hard as a rock. I returned to the store w/in 20 min and asked for a refund because I could not cut the pie. The manager said, he could not refund me because I opened the pie.. The pie only had a knife slit in it, no pie was removed... I went bananas, he the reluctantly refunded my money, but said next time-don't open the pie or he could not refund me. I said, you MUST be crazy!!!! GIVE ME MY MONEY-I've shopped in this supermarket over 33 years, regardless of the many name changes-but HE MUST BE INSANE... How do you know if food is NOT good until you open it... I'm NEVER shopping there again!!! He gave me my refund, but he did not do me a favor. This is the worst supermarket on the market..

This store is the most horrible of them all old stuff on their shelves expired dates. SALES items are never stocked on the shelves, have a better selection of items at the full universe on Dryer loop they don’t even have the Hebrew national salami they It wasn’t selling they decided to stop ordering this decided By one person who is no longer there . Extreme extremely high the fruits and vegetables are sometimes rotten. I don’t purchase items from there anymore. Trader Joe’s is the best for vegetables, fresh vegetables that don’t go bad.

I just tried to return a pack of spoiled bacon and the male manager that was on staff said that he could not exchange it because I did not have my receipt. I know if the female manager was on staff she would have exchanged it. Please do not buy any type of meats from this supermarket.

Often sells expired products on sale and any ground meat product is suspect usually brown and oxidized inside it's pretty gross. Fruit and Vegetables don't last as long as other stores kept refrigerated or not. They also have "cold displays" not plugged in and working as well as not up to temperature be wary shopping here check the expiration dates on sale items.

If anyone decides to shop here, make sure to check the expiration dates on everything. This place sells expired food, especially anything canned, in a jar or in plastic containers. They know it, and they don't care. Many complaints were brought to management's attention, and after the owner said they would take care of it and throw out the expired food, it was found in the same place the very next day.

Great people. Location is always clean and fully stocked, but they should move the bottle machine somewhere else. They are people blocking you when you are trying to leave.
