I have been shopping here since they first opened. I swear I go here at least 2 times a day. They have a wide variety of household items, food, cleaning products and rare finds. The owners are sweet and have built friends in the community. All the workers are so helpful! My mom even comes from Manhattan to shop and find things.

I would like to say this discount store is near to my house. When ever I needed I go. They have everything always coming new thing and price are so cheaper. The employee are so friendly. They did good service to the customer. And there chasier very helpful they did nice behavior nicely talking every time. Thank you krazy dollar store and employees.

Affordable items, however whenever i make a purchase, the cashiers have a disturbed look whenever im ready to pay. When i used to purchase w/ my neighbors who are hispanic they talked to them nicely, but me (which i am black) they are mute. I live around the corner & been noticed that for years. Plus they have a cat roaming around & I AM ALLERGIC TO CATS! So i stopped going, they only time i do go is if its an emergency & need something, they are right around the corner. Other than that, i spend my money elsewhere

I've lived in Melrose for the past 6 years and I have come to this discount store on several occasions and one thing that hasn't changed is the owner's discriminatory treatment of black clientele. Most of the times when the owner would have a hardened face and not speak, I would give her the benefit of doubt and say, "maybe she's having a bad day or is overworked."
