I was either lied to or this location may be plagued with incompetence. I called the store to ask if they could embroider custom designs on hats. They assured me that they could if I had the file. They said they can use a USB to access the file or it can be emailed. They proceeded to tell me that USB was preferred because with email lids gains rights to the image. A few days later, today, I went to this location and was told they can't use USB at all. Wasted my time going to this place. After this news, I asked if this was company wide and was told yes. I went to another lids and the loaded the USB no problem. So, I was in fact lied to and incompetence seems to be at the forefront on this location.

The lady with the glasses took my order instead of putting âviviâ like I asked for she misheard and put âbbâ. She didnât read it out again like most workers do to make sure the order is correct or tell me to write it down. After taking my order she just left me there didnât tell me how long it was gonna be, another worker had to tell me. When I found out she put âbbâ my cousin went to go ask if there was some exchange policy or if we can pay extra to take it off. The whole time my cousin asked her she didn't speak just shook her head with a serious face âđâ. She couldnât even apologize for the mistake or tell her manager. Very unprofessional.

Snap back was defective wore my cap to the game. When I unsnapped it the hat wouldnât snap back in after! My dad and brother both tried but it was clearly messed up. When I tried to return or exchange it with stickers intact and a receipt totally unchanged from original state store manager aggressively and angrily refused! Even though I had the receipt and had only bought it the day before! Worst retail experience of all time. Never shopping here again. Sad because I liked the hat initially.

bought four hats, and I took two hats that were larger in size to exchange. I was told that one hat cannot be exchanged. One hat did not have a trademark. It was swiped from another hat. I cannot exchange it. I was also cursed. Bad review đ

The service provided by the guy who has the dreadlock is extremely horrible. I was in the store, I couldn't buy what I went to look for after waiting more than half an hour and while I was there, I don't know how they have staff like that in the store.

If I could give this store zero stars I would . Came in yesterday to buy a hat for my uncle nobody greeted me when I walked in the door which is fine. There are 2 workers there 1 with dreads and the other with just a ridiculous nonchalant attitude. Sadly I encountered them both but the one with the dreads wasnât as bad as the one with the nonchalant attitude. The dude with the nonchalant attitude took forever to check me out and in the process of checking me out he was doing a million different things he took 3 mins to hand me my stuff that I had already paid for it was just a terrible experience please find new workers. When people walk into a store they should walk into a good environment not an environment where they want people in and out of the store.

Horrible Customer service, the guys that were there was having bad attitude since the minute I walked in there and they were horrible at explaining what need it to be done to do modifications to my hat. They didnât want to help me at all and every time I had a question they answered with such bad attitude for no reason. The worst customer service ever I will not recommend anyone to come here ever please go somewhere else or Yaâll should hire better people for real. The only reason I came here was because this is the only one in the Bronx but I will never come back again.

Calvin is the GOAT. Came in and immediately helped me out and went over the top to make my hat exactly how I wanted it!!! He took his time to create my vision and Iâm super happy with the way it came out and the overall experience. If youâre looking for someone knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to work with you this is the store you want to go to! Thank you Calvin :)!!!!!!!!!!

The Worst customer service experience ever! Both employees ignored my brother who was visiting the area and just trying to buy a Hat. The two employees mocked my brother and made rude comments to each other. My brother still bought the hat that was later thrown to the side rudely after he purchased it. The two men obviously do not want to work there which is demonstrated by the extremely terrible customer service. We will never shop at this location again. The reviews are all terrible and I wish we would have seen them before this visit. Doing our best to not let it ruin the day. We implore Lids Headquarters and the local management to do something about it or close it down if you are going to insist on conducting business in this unprofessional manner.

The customer service was disgusting. I genuinely donât know why lids hire these kind of people. The dude with the dreads energy just made me turn my stomach. Dude, if you hate your job switch careers. I went in there and the guy with the dreads, he tells me his name is Calvin or whatever. He is staring in my eyes with the upmost soulless stare and not even answering my question literally Just staring at me Lmaoo. I thought I was on an episode of pranked or something. He was extremely rude to my wife when she asked about an item. Lids doing bad hiring that guy. How is he still working there even after all the reviews.
