0Start was not possible. They don’t deserve even one start. Very unresponsive, unreliable clinic. Always close. Always a shortage of staff. Don’t waist your time.

No stars, if it were an option. Don't waste your time. You will most likely be told "we can't help you. We don't have the equipment for that. Go to city MD or your doctor." Lady wasn't lying. There was not one item associated with a clinic in the room apart from the examination table. If a medical clinic (located in a drug store) claiming to treat burns and injuries, and dozens of other maladies doesn't have an alcohol prep pad, or alcohol and a cotton swab And a tweezer, and can't get those things - think for yourself - ask yourself what are they really doing? How are they going to treat the burns and sprains and cuts or anything else the website explicitly states it treats? After spending an hour making an appointment and pre registering, then going there and waiting 10 minutes past my appointment time, I was told a splinter could not be removed: Regular run of the mill splinter that can be addressed at home, but because of the angle to twist my ankle, I couldn't remove it myself. having read through the bold claims made my CVS about the minuteclinic treating a broad range of medical complaints and then meeting the reality, its .... Sooooo CVS. Don't be lured in.

When I went to MinuteClinic I was told that in most cases I'd get my Covid-19 test back in around a week, but it could be up to 10 days. If you look at the website it now states 6-10 days...I'm at 14 days. They say if you have questions call their customer service #. So I did. Once again I hear 6-10 days, but it could take longer.I tried to speak to someone, but I've called 4x and have always been told to try later...What are you supposed to do? Stay in till they get around to it? This is way too long.

If you want to call and make and appointment, answer all questions online, then be largely ignored, and wait in a tiny area with stale air and a ton of people in a pandemic for an exceedingly long time, you should try to get your flu shot here.

I was ready to give their clinic very excellent review after I was attended by a male nurse named Matthew M , on 8/ 24/19 , he gave me one of the best customer service I experienced in a long time. And then I came back on 8/27/2019 at 12pm to do my reading and I was met by a very angry, disgruntled nurse ( Erin S) I didn’t understand why she was not nice through out such a short and easy process. It Walked out of there feeling very uncomfortable

Terrible customer service. The staff are unfriendly and slow to help. Items often out of stock. Half of the machines are usually out of service or experience technical difficulties that require additional manual override from staff, which hold up the line indefinitely. Go to Walgreens instead!

Worst pharmacy of all time. I go into the city or Westchester to fill prescriptions. Very long wait times and pharmacy rarely picks up the phone. In the off chance they pick up their goal seems to be "give the customer as much misinformation as possible then hang up". This place is the worst. Literally ANY other CVS is better.

I’ve gone here several times and every time I go the doctor is super friendly, helpful, and fast. Also you can’t find a better price for the great care you receive from here.

I had the most ridiculous experience this morning. I have been living in Riverdale for many years and am a regular shopper here at this CVS, as it is very close to my residence. This morning I came here shortly after 7am. I don't normally stop here in the morning, but I had a meeting for work scheduled early this morning and had to get an earlier express bus to the City. I had my earbuds in with music on and wanted to pick up some water and a snack as part of my lunch since I would be at this meeting all day. I went to get an Evian water from the fridge and then went to the next aisle to get some veggie chips when I hear someone yelling and saying "take that water out of your bag". There was no water in my bag. It was in my hand from the time that I got it from the fridge. Confused, I take out my earbuds and respond to the CVS worker (a short, older Hispanic woman with black and grey hair), showing her that there was no water in my bag and that the water had been in my hand. Instead of apologizing, she just kept saying that I had taken it out of the bag, essentially accusing me of shoplifting when I was still shopping. I went to a self-checkout kiosk and paid. The general manager was at one of the registers and said nothing, and offered no apology for her absurd and false accusations, and instead offered to ring me up. I told him no thanks and for both of them to leave me alone, as I would check myself out and pay. What was clear was the Hispanic female worker thought the whole thing was cute. Two other female customers were in the store and one of them was appalled by the worker's behavior and asked if I was ok once we stepped out of the store. I will writing a formal complaint to corporate about this incident and demanding that she be fired for her disgusting behavior. She was confrontational, rude and accustory with absolutely no evidence that I had done anything wrong and profiled me because she hadn't seen me in the store before (I have never seen her either), so apparently walking quickly to pick up items to purchase in the store now means you are shoplifting. As I told her, she needs her eyes examined.

First off, I've been going here off and on for years. I didn't go for a while since I was going to a more local pharmacy. I have now moved much closer to CVS and find myself using it all the time. I don't quite get why everyone is complaining about "creepy" sales help when it is their job to be helpful. Lighten up folks. Honestly, I never got the feeling that anyone was "stalking" me. That's also really nasty and judgemental to call someone an Amazon. What's the issue? I have found that the staff have all been polite and helpful to me. Always. I do, however, get the feeling that a few employees are "first timers" and fairly young, but I find this problem A LOT more at the local TARGET. It's true that they are not always stocked well. Things are sometimes missing, especially if they are on sale. Sales are somewhat confusing in the setup and labeling. This can be extremely frustrating at times and a waste of time to deal with, but I've always found that the staff will fix the pricing at the register, be it the checkout person or the self serve registers. I really am not a huge fan of the self serve registers, but for the most part, I got used to it - seeing as many more places have started to use this method. However I do think that having a second person work the checkout line more often would be a good idea. Admittedly, the place does have a feel of being disorganized. The front desk for the managers and photo/tech people is annoyingly often empty and you have to hunt the manager down and wait a lot. I do hate doing this. The photo people also aren't very knowledgeable. I don't use this service at all anyway, so I don't run into it. This is also the only place I know of that takes passport photos. Very useful. I haven't run into problems with the bathroom. Most places don't even have a bathroom for customers. The pharmacy does often have a line, mostly during after work hours. For the most part I don't run into this traffic, but I guess I go at low traffic periods. The neighborhood has only 2 major pharmacies and a mom and pop pharmacy in the extremely large neighbohood of approximately 14,000 living in the surrounding large buildings covering both sides of the highway and maybe 15-20 or so blocks up and downtown. What do you expect? They have a lot of people working in the pharmacy and they are fairly efficient considering, even if overwhelmed. If I have a problem, nobody has EVER been anything but polite to me and as helpful as possible. I guess it pays for a customer to be civil and polite as well. Nobody likes to be yelled at. One EXTREMELY helpful upside is that the pharmacy is actually open until 9:00 which is not the case in other pharmacies in the neighborhood. Also, the free parking in the back is really useful, especially since parking is really tight in the neighborhood with munimeters and very vigilant traffic cops. I also love that they have food staples which is AMAZING when you need something but don't have the time or inclination to walk the extra blocks to Key Food, especially in the cold. But I guess that's just lazy of me. All in all it covers a nice range of things you may need including office supplies, kids arts and crafts, toys, seasonal stuff, house stuff like detergent and cleaners type stuff, cords etc. Great place to get last minute stuff.

Came in this evening to pick up a photo book I ordered specifically for a Valentine's Day gift, after it said that it was ready online. When I arrived, I picked up a few things I needed, waited on an extremely long line, then requested my photo book. I was told the printer was down, but I could wait a few minutes to see if they could get it to work. After standing around for an extra 10 mins, I was shown the photos which turned out terribly. I was offered an even further wait, and then I asked if I can just pick it up tomorrow. His response was well there's no guarantee the printer will be working. Ok, well then why was I told my order was completed in the first place? Then treated like it was my problem? I said just forget it, cancel the order. Bottom line, if you enjoy wasting your time, & like being disappointed, be sure to stop by this CVS.

Recently I made the terrible mistake of designating this CVS pharmacy at 235 Street in the Bronx as, my pharmacy. My first negative experience was a few months ago, when after picking up my prescription, they continued to call me every day for at least a week, to tell me my prescription was ready! A couple of weeks ago, I stopped there to pick up another prescription. The parking lot was totally full, with numerous cars waiting to get in. I drove around several times, and returned, only to find the situation just as bad. I desperately needed the medication, and finally managed to squeeze into a parking space and was able to get it. The most horrible and unacceptable incident, happened today. I underwent a medical procedure yesterday and am recuperating at a relative's house upstate. My doctor instructed CVS to transfer my two prescribed medications to a pharmacy upstate. They managed to transfer one, but not the other, which was strange. I called CVS this morning, regarding the situation. I was told to have the upstate pharmacy call them to request the medication. They did so, but CVS would still not release the medication! I called CVS this afternoon. The man I spoke to said he remembered me from this morning. Unfortunately, he did not remember to transfer the medication. My sister then got on the phone with him, and the medication was finally released, just before the upstate pharmacy closed. Due to the incompetence at this CVS, I came close to being deprived of needed medication. When I get back to the Bronx, I will certainly selecting another pharmacy.
