The New York Botanical Garden is a stunning oasis located in the Bronx, offering visitors a delightful escape into nature. Many reviews highlight the enchanting Wonderland Exhibition, which brings to life the whimsical world of Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland." Guests can begin their journey at the large white rabbit fountain and enjoy a variety of themed displays throughout the gardens. The Rose Garden is particularly praised for its breathtaking array of roses and blooming flowers. Visitors recommend spending the entire day exploring the gardens, trees, and various exhibits, including the impressive orchid show. While some suggest packing a lunch due to higher food prices, they also mention that the café offers reasonably priced meals. The tranquil environment, especially during weekdays, allows for a peaceful experience with minimal crowds. The tram ride is a convenient way to see the garden, providing informative commentary along the way. Overall, the New York Botanical Garden is highly recommended for anyone looking to relax, enjoy beautiful landscapes, and explore themed exhibitions. It is a perfect destination for nature lovers and families alike.
I love coming here for the orchid show every year. The designs are amazing and walking the grounds in the winter is so quiet and relaxing. You don’t feel like you’re in the middle of the Bronx.

The Rose Garden was just gorgeous. So many different roses. Many other flowers still blooming. Going right now was completely worth it. Alice in Wonderland theme all over the gardens.
