Definitely a no joke learning center. I'm taking the cybersecurity analyst course for certification, and they teach you the TLDR about everything that can prepare you for successful certification. 5 stars.

As a Recent Per Scholas Graduate from Brooklyn location End of 2023 . Scholas provided me with invaluable skills and knowledge that landed me a hybrid role as a Software QA Analyst and Business Analyst. The instructors Manny Nigina and Diahan were incredibly supportive, the curriculum was comprehensive, and the hands-on experience was invaluable. I highly recommend Per Scholas to anyone looking to kickstart their career in IT."

Updating review because although overall experience was subpar, the friendships were worth it and most of us were offered contracts at companies a week after graduation.
Previous review:
Very disappointed. Newest cohorts get no hands on experience because Perscolas took out those weeks in order to accept "more students". Students were promised resume advice after submitting them 1st week and now program is towards end and they haven't been received. Professional development seems to be lacking and unhelpful. As well as actual opportunities with supposed Per Scholas partners. Expect to be on your own. It's only useful to get the certification but this program isn't really helping anyone the ways they'd have you believe. It's like you're on your own. Don't bother.

My experience is not so positive. It looks like the donors and learners data is not secure and protected at PerScholas.And the behavior and actions of employees raise questions.As a client I'm disappointed.During the learning process someone several times connected to the computer Perscholas provided.He/she/they typed different text on the screen, runned commands on the terminal. Each time connections and tasks were recorded and information was provided to the instructor to conduct investigations.Perscholas required clients/learners use they personal emails to get access to different platforms and at the same time they cannot protect their network and clients/learners accounts.If someone can easily get access to the learners computers at organization's network, he/she/they can easily can get access the the donors data as well as data any person that use Perscholas network.I asked for help and requested copy of the documents regarding the incidents. Unfortunately, since January 2023 didn't receive any.

After taking the time and money to come to this place (not to mention even after passing the TABE test) I ended up wasting my time. Once you pass the TABE test they tell you that there's a panel interview however they don't tell you that there's another test until you walk in for the second interview. This test was extremely difficult and they only give you 15 minutes to answer all 18 questions! If you have test anxiety don't bother.

I had the best experience at Per Scholas Online Cyber Security bootcamp. They provided me with FREE high level education, FREE computer to perform labs on (and later I got to keep that computer!), FREE tech tools and books (+online resources) and all this in order for me to succeed during this training! I had a very knowledgeable instructor and I would've never learned all this by myself! They also provide a voucher to take the standardized test and get certified in the field (my voucher was worth $400 and I didn't pay a penny). I feel incredibly blessed for this opportunity. THANK YOU PER SCHOLAS!

I am a Vocational Education Specialist from Housing works. I've been trying to refer one of my clients' to Per Scholas program and I was unsuccessful. I have left numerous messages and no one has returned my calls. I think this is very unprofessional and unethical. I am still waiting for someone to return my call, so I could make the referral.
