This could be the worst petco around. I been calling them for days. No one ever picks up I wanted to make Appointment for my dog. I just want to make sure they will bath him and nails. Just checking if he had all his shots. No one ever picks up

I received the worst grooming that I have ever experienced. I took my dog there, as I usually do, the haircut was so unbelievably bad. When I received my dog back, she smelt like a skunk, She was cut down to her skin, She was cut so unevenly. She came back traumatized. She is urinating in the house, and she has never done that. I don't know what happened to her on this particular day, but it was not good. She was nervous and afraid for days after. I take her there often, so I did not understand what happened on this occasion. I gave directions on how I wanted her done. Obviously, I was ignored . This has been a horrible experience. And I left a nice tip, When I got to my car, I realized just how bad this haircut was. Including the tip, I paid more than one hundred dollars for this horrible , horrible haircut. It took them four hours to cut my dog down to her skin? My dog is a multi pool, She was very hairy, Now she's pink because she has no hair she looks like a hairless cat. Some of their groomers are excellent, and then there are those who are horrible. I guess I got one of the bad ones that day. I was told that her hair would grow back, of course it would, but in the meantime, my dog looked like a hairless cat that smelled. You would think for a hundred dollars she would come out smelling like roses. Every day that I look at my dog, I get more and more upset. This has been some experience.

when i was checking out my dog i tried to put my employee discount in and she very rudely told me they cant do that anymore even though i work for another store not in this district and it was mine aside from that she just seemed so out of it i know working a lot of hours is tuff but she definitely seemed like she was swaying a little bit and she wasnt all there but who am i to judge ahe asked if i wanted a manager that was new to the establishment but i didnt want to fight with non of them so i just paid the full amount i wish i i couldve said something when i was there, the place looks all out of wack and they barely have the needed supplies for animals plus it was a tuesday and when i went in at 4 the vetco had already left

I was very disappointed today with my dog's grooming appointment . My dog had a 4 o'clock appointment for a bath and nail trim. We where told that it would take 45 minutes to an hour . Went back an hour later they told us to wait another hour . Eventually when he was done I was given advice to find a private groomer for him because he was old and large and seemed to be in lot of pain during his grooming process. What I don't understand is why they accepted to take him in the first place . All they had to say was that they were not equipped to handle big old dogs . It would have been better for everyone. Instead of having to wait in the car for 2 hours . I am quite old too . And it wasn't comfortable for me also . I have no complaints about their work , But I would have appreciated them being honest and just saying that they could not have handled my old dog from the start.

First off Miriam is great probably the best worker / trainer they have she should be manager honestly ! The place is so unorganized the workers have absolutely no knowledge about any product ! Beside Miriam . Horrible customer service experience! All the workers look dead ! Rather go to another Petco ! AVOID unless your dealing with Miriam

I will never buy fish here again. I had 4 fish die within a week and every time I go they never last long. The tanks are usually dirty and a lot of algae. Its not my tank, my water is so clear it looks fake and I take care if it. Do not buy any fish here...also its very hard to get any help with the fish, i have gotten ignored many times

My dog has pretty much been groomed at Petco his whole life. He's 3. He doesn't enjoy the groomers and is always very nervous but I've never had an issue until I used this location about a year ago. They left Bronx's private area irritated, seemed like from the blade and he was uncomfortable for a couple weeks. Last week, I made an appointment for Bronx at what I thought was another location. When I got the text for confirmation, I realized that I made it at this location by mistake. I quickly tried to find another appointment elsewhere but couldn't. I figured it had been a year since the last incident so I'd give them another try. I'm going out of town and couldn't wait. As I previously mentioned, Bronx is a nervous dog so I made sure to tell them so and also about our previous experience at said location. They assured me he would be okay but apparently today he gave them a hard time to groom him. When I picked him up, they told me they feel they will be unable to service him in the future which I was 100% okay with. Honestly speaking, I think the vibe was off and even Bronx was feeling it so I told myself I wouldn't use them again. I came home to book his next grooming appointment at another location in advance so there wouldn't be any issues and I find out while attempting to book the appointment that they banned us from using Petco for grooming! I'm shocked and appalled. I'm a Petco Premier member, Bronx has been groomed 20+ times at other Petco locations and because of one experience with this location, they ban us? They should look at themselves and ask themselves why they had such an issue with a soft, gentle dog who has been groomed by other colleagues not once, not twice but over 20 other times! If he was having an off day, it still doesn't warrant what they did.

Went to get my dog groom today and had the worst possible experience Shannon was very rude. My dog also has an ear infection and irritation in his anus once again. Never bringing my dog here again.. don't get me started on the weird extra 15 minutes charges didn't even bother to explain why it was charged 5 times which I felt was excessive... which made me also feel might've been intentional since he said which much attitude " oh this is going to be expensive just know". This wasn't even half the experience.

Customer service is absolutely horrible. I was looking for a harness for my pet and the the girl at the register was so annoyed it's like they don't even have anybody on the floor to help you. They have the cashier doing everything and obviously she was annoyed but you don't take it out on the customers very unprofessional I don't recommend going there if you need help but if you know what you want then that's different. I only go there for my veterinarian appointments which I have no problem in that area but if you're looking for things and you want advice and you want someone to help you? It's not the Petco to go to

Unenthused staff, nobody there on the floor to help customers, when someone actually passes thru there usually unapproachable. Management and customer service sucks in this store. I get it's a tough place to work but damn something needs to change here...

On Sunday, June 26 at approximately 1:08 pm. I was in line waiting to pay for my items. The male cashier on the left was busy with a customer but when the female cashier on the right finished with her customer she asked a guy that was not on the line to come over to her. They giggled and he walked to the back and then she proceeded to follow him. I asked her what's going on? I'm the only one on line could you just take me? She looked at me with a smirk and continued to follow her bf. I was livid but when the male (Stanley) cashier on the left finished with his customer, he asked me to step down. He apologized and told me that it wasn't right of her to walk away, especially because I was the only customer on line. I told him thank you for being human and asked him for his name. Thank you Stanley. Obviously this female thinks it's a joke to work and doesn't take it seriously. They need to fire her.

Horrible and rude staff and manager !Went a week ago to shop for some aquarium supplies staff wasn't helpful and told me I should shop at another location because that location "sucked" I managed to grab some gravel and left. (Slim Pickens).I wasn't able to purchase any fish due to all tanks were under observation and again staff said they would never purchase from that store .I went to another location and it was night/ day experience from the staff and I was able to purchase all my needs.Yesterday returned to this location because I purchased too much and I wanted to return a single item I ran into the manager. When I told him the reason from my visit he said "that's a you problem not me problem you have to return to the location of purchase which is not close to home and about to close soon. he said they had to assist me because that's their problem and said bye".I rushed across town made it to my location and was walking away because it was like 2 mins from closing its then the girl who helped me saw me and asked how she can help and I told her and she helped me and also said I could have went to any location but she was happy I selected her location I'm now a solid supporter for the mount Vernon location and will never return to this one !!!
