They never delivered the item because they said it couldn’t fit in my door. It was never taken off the truck to know for sure but I was able to put something bigger in my house with no problem. The customer service is worse. I can’t see myself recommending anyone to this particular store.Still waiting on a refund. Still waiting on a confirmation of cancellation. They say there system is messed up but it’s the customer service that’s messed up.

Quite aggravated with this store. Scheduled to have my bedroom delivered today since last week. Now they want to annotate there was an alert in my account for not providing an update to my work address, yet the lady Carmen who attended me asked me to provide it through their text and the gentlemen who responded didn’t know what to do with the information. Called today early in the day to verify my delivery and the guy said I am scheduled between 11am-5pm. I left work early to receive my shipment and even emptied my room. Come to find out when I called that my bedroom set won’t be delivered because my work address wasn’t updated. From my experience working for a furniture store ALL of this is verified the morning of the deliveries to avoid any of this from happening. I will be calling corporate HQ and providing my disappointment with this store directly. This is absurd with their customer service, almost a full week before they decide to tell me the day of something was missing!!! LIVID!!!

I called Rent-A-Center on July 7, 2023, a Saturday to ask when will they be able to pick up the full-size mattress that they claimed to me and Human Resources the full size-mattress would be picked up on Friday, July 6, 2023, after 3:00 p. m. I should just sit and wait patiently because they are very busy.Okay, let's look at the fact I am being told to sit and wait patiently. I walked into the store after the application said I had to come into the office to complete the application. I was told it would take two-three weeks before my Nectar full-size mattress would be delivered to the Rent-A-Center store located at 4036 White Plains Road, Bronx, New York 10466. I was told by the store manager to hold onto my money in case the full-size mattress comes sooner. I was told by her to be patient because they were backed up with orders. While I was standing there in front of the counter another employee was continuously telling the customer they would not receive any help because they did not check the auto payment box. The employee was told by the manager that the customer was a big problem.Believing the store manager I went home and waited patiently for the full-size mattress I ordered from Nectar on June 4, 2023. On June 6, 2023, the store manager herself called and claimed my full-size mattress was there and would be delivered on Thursday or Friday once I pay $210.87.She asked me do I have the money to make a payment over the phone right now. I said, yes I do. I immediately gave her all the required information from my debit card. I made a payment with faith and belief that I will receive my full-size mattress Thursday or Friday.Alright, Thursday came I waited at home all day. No show, no phone call. Friday came, no show, no call. I called Monday and was told again Friday. Now I have no full-size mattress. Now I can't bring my grieving granddaughters home with me because the full-size mattress I ordered hadn't been delivered. My 12 and 5-year-old granddaughters just lost their mom. They were looking forward to coming home with me after the burial ceremony of their mom. I had to deny my granddaughters the grieving help they required immediately since Rent-A-Center did not deliver the mattress I ordered. The full-size mattress was to accommodate us thru their grieving the loss of their mom.Well after, calling several times, and being told Friday, 27 days later. Again, after hanging up on me and hearing Friday, I caught the bus to their office on Saturday, July 1, 2023. I asked the other young lady when will the full-size mattress be delivered. I was told to go home and wait again. The drivers beat me home. That is how close I am to the Rent-A-Center store where I am purchasing the full-size mattress.Unfortunately, the full-size mattress is too soft for my back. I spoke with the young lady who originally took my information about my back surgery. We both sat on a stained gray couch that she tried to sell me as is for $300.00 cash and carry. Upon us sitting on this item, I was able to push a pillow on the chair forward to check for any stains. I wanted to know why she felt comfortable with offering this item at a low price. So, I believed that I should know what I am purchasing at such a low price. The gray couch had several stains that were visible to my eyes. Now I see she is going to continue to give me the runaround. She stated that again her famous words, the full-size mattress will be picked up on Friday, July 7, 2023. She told me to call her Friday, July 7, 2023. I called and she told me they would pick it up after 3:00 p. m. I no longer trust the words coming out of this manager's mouth. The full-size mattress is still in my house, I called on Saturday morning July 9, 2023, to see what time and date next week would they be able to put me on their pick-up schedule for the return of the full-size Nectar mattress. Once I mentioned my name to the gentleman who answered the phone, his immediate response to me was a strong slam of him hanging up on me IMMEDIATELY!I have notified Human Resourc

Good afternoon I normally don’t write reviews but I have to say this has been the worst experience with Rent-A-Center that I ever had with any company! First off, whoever is reading this, please do not do business with this store at this address ever the sales woman came off really nice really trustworthy in the beginning took my money with no problem .. I ordered a four piece bedroom twin set for my son and I LG TV 70 inch I receive the 70 inch TV and not the twin size bedroom set. I waited over a week. Their communication is horrible. They are not trust worthy so here we are a week later, and I still have not received the bedroom set but they are harassing me for payment when I don’t even have the merchandise in My Home home. Except for the LG TV which I don’t mind paying for that’s not the problem. The problem is how can you harass me for an item that is still sitting at a store at their store it’s been sitting there since Saturday. Let me take it back again. I ordered it a week ago. It is now again Tuesday still haven’t received it now. I have to wait six days to get a refund on the four piece twin size bedroom set I can’t even make a payment ON MY ACCOUNT ONLINE FOR THE LG TV because they have so MANY ERRORS is on so now here I am seven months pregnant and they’re harassing me nonstop. The LG TV is only $29 a week which once again I don’t have a problem paying it but I’m not gonna pay for an item. I do not have please do not do business with this company it’s not worth the headache is not worth the excitement. It’s a whole miscommunication this person saying there’s this person saying that, they don’t have no professionalism !!!

The most dirtiest one I’ve been to and there staff are very Unprofessional and play a lot of games and are straight disrespectful with how they talk plus work… making a person go out there way with there personal information just to tell them it’s not in stock smhMy advice just save ur money and go elsewhere Periodt

It’s a hit or miss communication from the store is horrible and they don’t explain all the details. It’s all about the money with customers. They don’t care as long as you’re paying that’s all they care about.
