We had the best experience working with Schleppers this past week as we moved from NY to CT. From the first point of contact, to working with Derek to put together an accurate quote for the amount of stuff we have, to the two days of packing and moving, it was the best, least stressful move we’ve ever done! The pricing was very transparent and Derek was incredibly helpful in breaking it all down for me, and answering any questions I had. Jose’s team of movers were efficient, fast, professional, and incredibly careful with our things. When our sofa wasn’t fitting into our living room, they tried multiple different ways, all while not even getting a single mark on our white sofa. I didn’t have to lift a finger, Schleppers handled everything- and as a new mom to a 7 month old, that meant the world to me! We will definitely be using Schleppers again in the future!

This was our second encounter with this moving company. My brother hired them to transport furniture from NY to Rhode Island. We dealt with 2 different crews and both were very professional, courteous, very respectful, and responsive.

An over the phone estimate took 20 mins. Moving consultant was kind of patronizing about how I planned to package things. Also Quoted double the price compared to other companies(I got 3 more quotes). I saw no green flags.

Called to get an estimate and they made this more complicated than it had to be. Called 4 other moving companies and they helped immediately.

I had the worst experience. They ruined all my new furniture. Completely destroyed my new bed, dining room table, lamps, coffee table and couch. Further, the mover wouldn't load my dining room tables and tv along with other items so I had to throw them out. I made a claim and Shleepers offered me $150 for damages. The cost of the new furniture was around $30k. I paid Shleepers $3,955.24.
DO NOT USE THEM!!!!! I am shocked by the lack of responsibility - I still don't understand how they damaged all my belongings, and further not taking responsibility. DO NOT USE!!!

I had a great experience with Schleppers. Fran helped me through multiple date changes while staying competitive and removing stress from a stressful few closing cancellations. I didn’t have to worry about this part because she always communicated in a way that showed I was taken care of. Then, on the day of the move, I had some great people who did a great job. Because of them, my day was much less stressful, and it felt really good to be fully moved in at the end of the day

Schleppers movers were excellent. From the point of contact with requesting a quote to the day of the move, the staff was friendly and professional. The men who did the packing were quick and efficient. They stored everything in my existing storage unit with care and neatness. Very happy with the experience.

The fellas at Shleppers were fantastic! They hustled like crazy and made a stressful morning as smooth as it could possibly. Total pros, they took care of the usual moving problems (um, will this couch actually fit in the elevator?) with total chill. I'd hire them again in a minute, and if you're considering a move, definitely give them a try. High-five to Rudolpho and the guys.

Excellent company. Have used several times including their storage & have always been very satisfied. They have packed and unpacked as well. All movers have been efficient & careful & very reliable. There pricing is excellent too and they have collection of any non- perishables you want to donate to food pantry. Moving is never easy but this group made it seamless.

I highly recommend Shleppers. From beginning to end, all the employees were courteous and responsible. I obtained a move date that suited me within a week, the COI was expedited immediately and the movers were prompt and professional. Nothing was damaged and the movers were so kind.
