Items that the app said were available, with a lot of quantity were not there ATT ALL. The items I could find were FILTHY. I placed a mobile order for pick up and it took so long to be "ready for pick up" that when I got there, hours later, I wound up having to cancel the order and just get the items myself.

This Home Depot has been in the neighborhood for years, at least since I was in middle school - that's why I was initially surprised to discover that I had not reviewed it here on Yelp (tells you how often I go to the Depot). I was in need of some home improvement supplies, and since I was in the neighborhood it only made sense for me to stop here, so off I went. I always felt this Depot was in a weird area Pelham Gardens, the commercial strip is pretty developed but the golf club across the street has been empty and overgrown for years, and the now closed Pelham Bay Diner is looking more dilapidated with each passing day. Anyway, back to the Depot - it's really no different from other locations I've been to - the inside is large and from what I saw, they were well stocked.I was able to find what I came for with ease, I can't speak for the helpfulness of the floor staff since I didn't need any help, however I did interact with some of the staff at checkout who were great. It also looks like they reorganized the checkout so that it's one line and you are taken care of my whichever cashier is available. Overall, I had a good experience at this Home Depot. I was able to quickly find what I needed, and the checkout process was smooth. I would definitely consider returning for my next home improvement project.

Very very unhappy with my current situation with this store. I purchased a carpet shampooer on 08/02. I received UPS tracking confirmation stating my item was delivered to the store on 08/05. To date (08/16) I still have NOT received an email informing me my item was in store. I went to the store and they're stating they have not received the item. They stated they have an arrival date of 08/09. My package is coming from Illinois. It doesn't take 2 weeks for delivery from Illinois.UPDATE - I received my item 08/23.

Honestly wish i can give NO stars. Their products are all opened and missing items. The people who work there do not know ANYTHING. They don't know where anything is. They just guess an aisle and let you go and find it on your own. Which 9/10 times it's not in that aisle. They lack basic customer service. They are rude. And i rather drive out of the way to new Rochelle or even by ridge hill

Mixed feels on the vibes here. It is tough to find a clerk if you randomly roam. Once you figure out the system, you'll be just fine. But it really should not be so complex, truly. Head to the customer service counter and hope for the best. As far as inventory, this place stays well stocked. That's probably part of the reason that this store stays busy. There's a pretty big garden section in the back! Good prices on bulk items too. You'll just have to expect a low frills service. They have self checkout lines on case the register lines get too long. They usually have what I need and there's usually someone willing to help schlep things over to your car.

Don't believe what any of the Home Depot Installation sales reps tell you about their windows/doors "Double Lifetime Warranty." It's simply not true. Labor is not covered beyond 1 year! Look at their contract verbiage below. When I inquired about the discrepancy, this was my reply: "My understanding is the line references our lowest warranty that was available on an American Craftsman window which is 1 year and the others would in essence be an upgrade to it. I can assure you having been with Home Depot in the window installations business for over 8 years now they consistently favor on the side of taking care of the customer including any service concerns and issues." It's b******* because the salespeople will be long gone by the time you file a claim. It's what's in the contract that you sign that matters in the eyes of the law; not a marketing brochure or something said in an email. Plygem/Simonton's customer service rep, Mikka, told me that they get lots of complaints from unhappy customers when Home Depot does not honor the warranty. Moreover, they told me HD's (underpaid) subcontractor installers make a lot of mistakes. All confirmed by Simonton's supervisor, Lori Hendershot. The 6500 series window itself is warranted for 20 years and prorated afterwards. This is taken from their contract. Workmanship is only for 1 year! 7. WARRANTY AND LIMITATION ON WARRANTIES: (a) Warranty: Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement, Home Depot warrants for 1 year from the completion date that all Services shall (i) be performed with good workmanship and (ii) conform to the requirements of the Agreement. During the warranty period and within a reasonable time after receiving notice from You of a warranty claim, Home Depot may, at its sole option (i) correct or replace each Defect, or (ii) remove each Defect and refund the full purchase price thereof to You; provided, however, that all warranties are voided if (1) anyone other than Home Depot or Service Provider performs work upon or otherwise modifies any materials or Services provided under this Agreement, or (2) You fail to pay Home Depot as provided in this Agreement. (b) Limitation on Warranties: THE WARRANTIES PROVIDED IN THIS AGREEMENT ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTIES CONTAINED IN PARAGRAPH 7A, IN THE WARRANTY SECTION OF THE AGREEMENT, IF ANY, OR IN THE STATE SUPPLEMENT, IF ANY. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT NO OTHER WARRANTIES ARE MADE OR GIVEN BY HOME DEPOT OR SERVICE PROVIDER, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY FOR FITNESS OF PURPOSE, WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR ANY OTHER ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. HOME DEPOT'S EXPRESS WARRANTIES ARE VOIDED FOR ANY DEFECT CAUSED BY ABUSE, MISUSE, NEGLECT, ACTS OF GOD, LACK OF PRESCRIBED OR STANDARD MAINTENANCE, OR IMPROPER CARE/CLEANING. ANY MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTIES PROVIDED FOR GOODS, MATERIALS, OR EQUIPMENT WILL BE PASSED THROUGH BY HOME DEPOT TO YOU, AND YOU AGREE TO LOOK SOLELY TO SUCH MANUFACTURER FOR REMEDY OF ANY DEFECT IN SUCH GOODS, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT. Yesterday evening I went to this location, upon entering a man entered behind us and he was saying out loud NASTY,NASTY, NASTY. I could not understand why at that moment but: No carts were available, and no wipes were available to wipe down one if you could find one. And the store wasn't even that crowded so there should've been carts available. There was garbage strewn about the parking area, ALL over the place. The lighting seem to be dimmer and than other Home Depot stores that I have visited. I refuse to spend my hard earned money in a store with these conditions. So I left and drove to the New Rochelle location, where I instantly found a cart upon walking into the store. Wipes were available to wipe down the cart and garbage was not strewn all around the parking area. The lighting in the store was much better. I had to wait in line for a while since the store was kind of packed but it was worth it. Steer clear of the Gun Hill Rd HD location. Save yourself the disappointment and just go to New Rochelle- it was a pleasure to shop there.

2nd time coming to this location of home depot on gun hill road in the BX. Staff's was very helpful. The lines was little long due to cash register limited access. They are also hiring for those who are looking for a job!

Delivery man left items in the lobby of a residential building without successfully contacting me. Ultimately the items were stolen. Went to the site and had one of the worst experience ever. The associate was rude and did not want to find a solution for their admitted mistake. After disputing with the associate my funds was refunded without the $35 delivery fee just go to the New Rochelle location! Thank you Nedayah from corporate for attempting to find a resolution. I appreciate it.

Everytime i come here, the team member assisting me out is always very, very helpful and unbothered by any requests and inquiries. Great energy in this location!
