I would truthfully say this post office is a disgrace to the bronx community and the entire ny state. It looks old and dirty. The workers make up there own rules and they are very lazy. They act like they are doing you a favor by servicing you. If you bring in too many packages , they don't even want to take them. They want you to bring them to another post office. The Front window glass is dirty. You can barely see in.

Most unwelcomed post office in Bronx ,one lady here is always very rude and disrespectful ,Go to other post office in 2619 Ponton ave ,very nice people there.

This location has been notoriously problematic but the USPS does not seem to care. Intentionally rude and always unhelpful. They shut the location down for an hour and a half during the day FOR LUNCH!! As if they cannot stagger staff and remain open, especially for a location with limited hours and services.

This location needs to be deeply investigated as well as the entire staff ,There's internal fraud at this location, My checks were stolen and washed, And re issued ,beware when mailing anything at this location.

This post office system they are a bunch of unfair workers in this customer service, Fraud department and accounting services. My rent money order was stolen and cashed and I was sent details as to who did it and i was told it was cashed at one of these local post office but they still denied to refund me my money when I have my receipts and everything they of prove. I have no idea who the sender or receiver is cause they washed all my information from it but the serial number is the same on my receipt. I will never use the system anymore or recommend people do money orders anymore with them , They don’t care or will help you!!

Maria Denials is the worse customer service person in the postal office. I was there on 3/31/2022 at approx. 3:10pm I had a questions for her and instead of saying I'll be right with you she ignored me add stated can't you see I'm doing something. Then tells me to have common sense. She is so disgusting and rude.

First time at this location, I had the worst service at this location, lady Maria denials me service and even gave me some of my packages back to take to a different usps location all because I asked her to scan and give me receipt of all my 8packages. She said, they are only allow to scan 4 packages and she gave me back the rest. She is very very rude, disrespectful and hustle to customers. Maria don’t know how to treat customers and needs to improve or learn customer service.

Staff are not professional -1. They open/close whenever they want to: opening 30 mins late or going on an hour and a half lunch break2. They make up unreasonable rules: not accepting more than 4 packages, colored/specific tape, and branded/specific boxes3. They have a routine asking if there's anything liquid, fragile, or hazardous -- yet they don't handle the actual package/s itself with care; roughly plopping it around when scanning and weighingthe fact that we have to be concerned about the handling, delivery, and arrival of our mail/packages is absurd. we recommend the post office at Ponton (which opens an hour later) -- much better staff and service.

Workers are rude, especially the lady with eyeglasses (right side of the counter) who, occasionally, would raise her voice and treat you like trash for small resolvable mistakes.

I have been using the service here for many years and have not had a problem. Friendly service. It is small and sometimes there is a wait but I've not been there longer than 15 minutes and that's only because one person was on shift.

I am 71 years old. I have never in my life had a shouting fight with an employee anywhere, but that's where I ended up today, thanks to the incredible rudeness and hostility of the clerk at the right-most desk facing the customers at 1:30 on a Wednesday. This isn't my local PO--my local PO is friendly or at minimum, civil. This experience was an absolute horror and if anyone cared about service, the clerk should be fired on the spot. Earlier in the day I'd gone in to mail my package, but it was too expensive so I went home, cut down the box, and came back. I am not feeling well, so it was not easy, but I did it. The previous clerk had seen the box, which said "UPS Store" and hadn't said I needed to cover that up. I mean, things are mailed with all kinds of writing on them and I'd only gone to the UPS store to buy the box because USPS didn't offer boxes that size. So I went back and the clerk I was unlucky enough to get refused to take my package because of the UPS wording on the side. I asked her for a pen so I could scratch out the UPS, she said "I don't have anything" when she had a container full of pens right in front. I said, you've got pens there, and she said "Pen won't cover it, you need to go cover it." I asked if she could give me a piece of paper to cover it and she said no. I said I was there before and the other clerk hadn't told me I had to cover it, she said something to the other clerk (who was probably terrified of her anger problem) and then called me a liar. I said OK, would you at least just weigh it and tell me how much it would cost, and she refused. She told me to take the package away and called the next person. By this time, we were both yelling at each other. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE LOST MY TEMPER IN A RETAIL ESTABLISHMENT. They don't dare act this way at UPS or FedEX, sadly. This woman has no business working with the public, or with anyone actually. WHERE ARE THE SUPERVISORS? I see so many poor reviews like mine about this post office--why isn't anyone listening?

You'd think that the teller was working on commission! Not only did she offer the customer ahead of me the highest shipping method/rate, she also tried to do the same to me. Then when I stepped off the line, did a little research, went back and questioned her on pricing vs basic shipping methods she started to speak like an auctioneer. She was peaking way to fast to as to confuse me. I've worked in a mail room before and knew something was off, she was over doing it. Do your research on rates vs methods prior to going here!

The two star average this post office has is generous. The workers appear to work harder at refusing service than helping. Save yourself the trip and go to a different post office.

This is a terrible post office. I have gone about once a month for the past 5 years since I moved to the area and there is always a 50% chance they will be closed due to their computers not working. They just close the whole branch for the entire day when they have tech issues. It is so unprofessional. Why not get someone to fix the computers since this has been happening forever?
