My sibling and I went to Walgreens to check out inventory for our home. The place is at the seat of the Fordham Strip, fully decorated, organized, clean, and a set ATM by the entrance. For convenience, there is a beauty section as customers enter the store. Nonetheless, my sibling also wanted to refill cards from Capital One and CashApp. After getting the necessary items, we found out that CashApp can be refilled at many famous retail stores such as most Walgreens, CVS, 7-Eleven, Rite Aid, Dollar General, Walmart, Family Dollar and others. Capital One only accepts fewer stores, such as most CVS, Walgreens and Duane Reade stores. You must pay a fee to reload cash for both cards. With this information, my sibling and I still enjoyed the customer service staff who kindly attempted to reload the Capital One card for our convenience at this Bronx location. As an afterthought, Walgreens has a large stash of Ferrero Rocher chocolates, beautifully crafted for both delicacy and as a home display before eating as a snack. After leaving Walgreens, I downloaded the app, signed up, and registered the receipt to the missing Walgreens Cash Rewards for points. These points can be accumulated and redeemed for discounts and perks - a common incentive found in major retail apps. Enjoy Walgreens!

Some of the workers here are rude not a hello, good after noon, thanks for shopping, or even have a nice day, not even a smile (some of them) one of those employees, had a face while speaking to me and when I put my hand out to get the change and receipt they just placed it on the counter. Also the product I purchased was personal, not for your period but more private (women hygiene). And they didn't even put it in a bag or ask if I wanted a bag, just placed it on the counter and called next. Another time going a customer and security guard were arguing, he accused her of stealing, which she wasn't and he was very rude and calling her all types of names and "broke b*tch" it got really loud and out of hand and another male security guard proceeded to put hands on her (hitting and pushing her) I don't recommend coming to this one, they're very unprofessional and rude.

I think it’s utterly disgusting and unacceptable that you cannot speak to anyone in the pharmacy via the telephone. To delay someone’s prescription because you’re out of stock and two weeks later all the automated system can tell you is that there’s no prescription on file is ridiculous! You all have to do better

Perhaps the worst Walgreens pharmacy in the whole of NY. They don't answer phone calls, terrible customer service.I picked up a 90 refill for my daughter,after 60 days she was out., meaning they counted the pills wrongly. So her doctor had to write a month's prescription to another pharmacy and insurance would not pay for that.

They don't answer the phone. They pick up repeatedly and put you right back into Hold status. Also got vaccine there and the Daytime female pharmacist didn't provide any documentation nor instructions. Making the experience very ghetto based. Just because She is in a low income neighborhood doesn't mean she gets to treat people lowly. Also can not reach them on phone. A 19 minute hold right now. The Pharmacy is ringing then picking up send me back to hold without speaking to me at all. Very unprofessional and I won't return for their sub-standard decided treatment. I thought they were good to be close to reside location. I will not return for their lowly service.

Idk why i do it to my self . The bronx is so ghetto !!!! Did I really expect customer service to be on point ? I mean I get my order noone tells me im missing an item . Now im asking where my item is and the guy is annoyed and on his phone . Now im annoyed cause i need to wait but if he would have looked at the order he would have seen it was out of stock. Smh !!!! I knew this would be a mistake and I won't do it to myself again...

This is very rare of me!! Giving 5 stars!! And if I could I'd give more to the 2 Walgreens team members who were on top of everything/everyone on my 45min. visit. They both manned the registers!! He also answers the calls from the speakers. As she manned not one, not two but three registers.Honestly....the Saturday of Memorial weekend, where is the rest of the team? Why did management not put more workers on the schedule for this 3 day weekend??This is a reflection on my experience for today!!!! Not my review for all of my Walgreen experiences.

As someone working in a doctor's office and trying to contact Walgreen's on behalf of our patients to confirm medications for the patients, it is frustrating when you can not get in touch with the pharmacy staff, it is blatantly disrespectful when no one picks up the phone to even say "please hold" rather they just press the hold button. If a doctor's office has to go through i can imagine the customers. Walgreen's needs to do better. This is not acceptable

Hello today I visited Walgreens today and I wanted to tell you about my experience. Firstly I called over the phone to refill a prescription. Sara who works in the pharmacy was very kind and pleasant as soon as she answered the phone. I explained to her how I lost my prescription test and I have to come out of pocket to pay for it. She then told me to call my insurance maybe they can overwrite the expense of the prescription because I lost it last week. I told her I will give it a try. Minutes later Sara return my phone call and said she got my prescription overwrited for me and I only needed to pay for the copay. She went above and beyond calling me back, doing the work for me , and most of all being patient , fast and understanding. You really don’t see this level of customer service so I haddddd to leave a review on her.

I'm calling Walgreens and no one is answering the phone. I'm calling about my prescription in the Pharmacy. This is poor customer service. 9 minutes I am wating!!!!

I'm a Fordham student who uses this Walgreens. There's one pharmacist who is actually so beyond rude and treats people like they are dumb. Blow my mind how someone so "smart" could be a pharmacist. They never answer the phone either. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is bc there is one guy at the pharmacy who is pretty chill.

I like it and I shop there often and the selection is quite good too it's clean and organized and I would recommend it.
