This is the worst place to go pick up money sent through WU. The lady that does the evening shift does not know what she is doing. Very rude with customers. A friend of my mine who received money from Dominican Republic visited today 11/20/2020 and was not assisted. The employee said the money was sent in pesos when it was actually sent in US dollars from DR to NY. My friend had proper Identification (unexpired passport) and showed the employee the MTCN and transaction receipt. The employee sent my friend to pick up the money in the Dominican Republic.. WHAAAAAT?? We had to go to another location where we showed the agent as often our MTCN and ID and received the money with no inconveniences. I would like to escalate this issue so that this employee receives proper feedback. I didn’t get the name of the lady but please see the date above to identify the employee. We visited the store night time (8 -8:30pm).
