I was on the hunt for authentic Italian pizza. This place missed the mark by a lot. The pizza had not been cooked enough, the dough tasted under. The sauce did not have any flavor to it, and overall, it was just a bad pizza. For the price paid, you would think they have great food to offer. The employees were kind, but their pizza place has a lot to work on.

I have been coming to Yankee Pizza since 1988 and still 30 something years later this place holds a special place in my heart, memories of my youth in my favorite place to eat my favorite pizza, and I hear one of the original owners still here and so,,, Mike if you are, thank you for your years of service to us all. I'm happy to see you are still with us trough the years and good to know, you still have amazing hands, and a heart of gold! May God bless you always and I wish you many more years of God's grace!. Yankee Pizza has been around for over 43yrs and that should speak for itself. The pizza is Great, the prices are reasonable & the atmosphere is Fantastic. I've been going here since opening day and although i've moved out of the area i always stop to grab a slice while traveling in the Bronx and love getting a chance to chat with Gus the Owner. So i Def Recommend weither you live in the Area or just visiting stop by, see Gus and Enjoy some Great Food. ENJOY....??❤️

Best Pizza in NYC, and don't let anybody tell you anything different. I've been out of NY for 5yrs, and I crave it all the time. I came back for the Thanksgiving holiday and brought a pie and Not only is it Better Than I remember but the owner is still there, giving you that warm feel and taking care the ppl in the community. If you ever visit NYC, this is the only time I recommend coming to the Bronx, is for this Pizza. ??

Been coming here since i was a kid the food is the best there's a small area for games such as pac man and street fighter, indoor seating in case you want to dine in and the service is top tier. There very polite, i recommend all families to give it a try.

This is the best pizza shop along with Nicks on Gunhill and Jerry’s on Boston Rd BX .. My kids & family love it here .. they serve with a smile and the games are a plus!!!
