Burnt my eyebrow off during a wax. I didn’t realize I was bleeding till after I left and the worker accepted my tip and didn’t tell me. Not only that, but the owner literally forced me to tip her more. Point blank asked me if I could give more money for the horrible service. Two months later, and I still have a scar from the wax job.

i went for a pedicure. the lady doing my nails had to ask the other lady what soap to put in the tub. then she proceeded to just throw the soap into the tub and it splashed all over my leg. after like ten mins i asked if she would mind taking the blue rocky soap off my leg bc my skin is really sensitive and it looked like it was going to stain, she snapped and said “i’ll get to it when i get to it” and i was like alrighty. then, she is cutting my nails and like pulls off a piece of my skin and i start bleeding profusely and she just ignores. i start getting worried at this point clearly she doesn’t know what’s she’s doing. and she finally starts washing the soap off my leg by splashing the water (which was contaminated with my blood) on my leg messily, soaking the bottom of my leggings. at this point i realize “i need to go” and the lady at the door was like 38$ and i try to explain the situation but i was charged full price regardless. now, i’m left without a pedicure, a stained leg, and my toe has yet to stop bleeding.Service: Pedicure

Very nice place with lovely staff. Not very many gel colors to choose from. Honestly, more expensive than I would have liked--- $75 for UV gel fill-ins and polish. A nice experience, but too pricey for me.Services: Gel manicures

I will not be returning to Bronxville nail salon after a bad experience today. I was shouted at by the salon receptionist because he thought I wanted a regular manicure after I requested a gel manicure. I felt very uncomfortable and so did the customer sitting next to me. A manicure which should be relaxing, was truly spoiled.

I never write bad reviews or reviews at all but I had to for this place. I should've listened to all the other bad reviews and never gone here. I got SNS powder done yesterday and the nail tech Emily cut my skin and continued to file over my skin so when I left all 10 of my fingers were bleeding around my cuticles. Today 2 of my nails broke and went back to get them fixed and the owner said it would be $10 because it was my fault they broke. They broke in less than 24 hours and its MY fault. I refused to pay and walked out but please do not waste your money here it is absolutely awful.

I had a very distasteful experience today with both the owners Danny and Lisa and as such will not be returning to this business. I have noticed that when clientele of a certain race walk in, both Danny and Lisa fall over themselves to be courteous and sweet. However, if you are black or non white with a darker skinned tone please take your business elsewhere, you are not respected nor appreciated. As a partner at a law firm, and an adjunct professor at a well respected law school, it is ironic that because I may not look a certain part, I am treated in this manner by another minority race. I had shellac done 2 business days ago by Rosa, who was very courteous, but did not do a good job on my nails. It was clear from the beginning that she was putting on too many coats of polish (to try to fix an issue with the style of shellac) and I even said the same thing to Lisa (one of the owners) who quickly said "its no problem." I paid over $120 for mani, pedi and chin wax and gave Rosa a $20 tip. Of course only a day later the polish broke off in clumps! I called and Danny told me to come in and they would fix it. When I got there this morning and Lisa realized that 6 of my nails needed to be fixed she gave me the nosiest attitude and was harshly filing my nails, barely responding to my questions and overall JUST NASTY. When she was done I went over to speak with Danny to discuss my experience. He quickly started getting loud telling me the least I could was to tip Lisa, the owner. First why am I tipping you for fixing a problem that your employee created and secondly why are you demanding a tip. This is unacceptable and disgusting.

I’ve been to this place a few times and every time I felt like their service kept getting worse, still decided to give it a chance because of the quiet atmosphere. The first red flag was the USED nail filer they used on me. I went in for SNS Powder nails with extensions. For starters the nail tech seemed to be rushing every step. I noticed this because my sister was doing her nails beside me and her nail tech was two steps behind mine. I kept flinching my hands away because she kept filing my skin, the nail tech seemed to not care that I was being hurt my her harsh filing. After so much pain endured what I was fearing finally happened, she cut me. No apology, courtesy discount or anything. I left the place bleeding from two fingers. Needless to say I will not be coming back.Services: Dip powder

Went here for the first time because of a few great reviews but I wish I listened to the bad ones. I called ahead and asked them if they could an SNS manicure with tips to add a little length and they said yes absolutely! The experience was so bad I left in tears. After putting the tips on incorrectly for two nails she ripped them off which not only hurts really badly but also rips off layers of the natural nail. Shouldve left then but decided to give a chance. Every nail was left at a different length and with uneven edges. I asked for square and skinny and both middle and ring fingers are round and very wide. I asked three times for her to fix them and she didnt. She cut my pinky finger and it started bleeding and then later when she filed that nail, she filed the cut which hurt so badly and she made it bleed again. After all that I still paid for their time and resources but was questioned why I didnt leave a tip so I explained and then left. I am so upset and wish I never went there.

Resident of 15 years in Scarsdale and Happened to have time to cheat on my nail ladies in Bronxville after a massage. I didn't have an appointment and was seen with no hiccups. The gentlemen was very kind, probably the best part of my visit. My mistake I left my CC unknowingly at home, and tried using a card I don't normally use. It was decline, probably bc it's a corporate card. The lady who I tipped 20% for her work, was rude when bringing my card and informing me of the status. She hovered as if I was a criminal and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I arranged to have my card brought to me and realized when I leave my card home on accident, I could use Apple Pay. I tend to use that everywhere. I was able to use the card I left at home thru my iPhone and all was settled. I understand my shortcomings but to have admit the lady did not present or offer other ways to help. She rather exerted an even more uncomfortable situation. I am a VP in customer experience for one of the biggest banks in the US and I was appalled with the experience here. The lesson I learned is not cheat on my nail ladies and I will continue to only use the ones in Scarsdale.

I have been here a few times and I think this place is really good. You are greeted as soon as you walk through the door. There is usually no wait because they have so much staff. They even have someone who will refill your parking meter for you while you are being seviced. In terms of service, the manicurists/pedicurists are always detail oriented and clean my cuticles and apply my polish/gel neatly. When I get my nails done here, it usually lasts 3 weeks. I took away one star because they don't use tub liners when giving pedicures. Overall though, it is very difficult to find such good service in Westchester so this is my go to spot and I would reccommend it to anybody.

(I never write a bad review) - But......I've been here several times before, and depending on who you get their services are pretty good. However, I went for a powder gel manicure on Saturday 4/9, by Monday 4/11 they were already lifting. I called on Tuesday to tell Danny about it and how they have to be redone. He said ok and penciled me in for 5:30 on Wed. 4/13. I arrive there only for him to tell me they are booked solid and very busy. I said but I made an appt. with you yesterday for today at 5:30. Then it was complete silence. (awkward) I say what's the wait? He said Oh, (then he says) there is a 25 min wait. Then he says oh so you want to redo your nails, huh? Like by choice I just want to redo them, NO, your technician did not do them correctly they are already lifting and I do not want to get fungus on my nails. He was dismissive. Which I knew then he was expecting to charge me for another manicure to boot. Not to mention when I was there on Saturday, I don't think he thought my tip was enough. That's the first time he has ever done that to me. I did not feel the love there and I will not return. I'm essentially gifting my money away there. So now I'm off to find another salon. (He also doesn't know he is a tenant to my company.) So when he cannot meet his obligation they will know why, because the service is not up to par and people leave and do not return. This is why they lose their customers. He's liked by many because he feeds the meters for the customers, but at the end you are paying for a service that is NOT meeting the standards at the very least not for him to feed the meters for you, and he's becoming a little smudged lately. Its just NOT the same place anymore. Bye Bye Bronxville Nails.Services: Dip powder
