I took a soiled raincoat into The Clothes Doctor, and somehow they managed to make it more soiled as a result of the cleaning than before. They were willing to do a second try on the coat, but nothing changed in that go around. Very disappointing -- the raincoat is unwearable now and it was not when I brought it in to them. All at a steep price tag.

"The Clothes Doctor" is the perfect name for this dry cleaning establishment. The care and perfection with which they operate is unlike any I've known. Their goal is to return your items to you in near-mint condition. I recently spilled some delicious Cabernet Sauvignon red wine on my expensive white linen pants. Other dry cleaners told me simply to replace the pants because "that wine is from grapes that are a natural dye and the red will never come out." The Clothes Doctor asked that I give their specialists a few days. To my shock they did the job and there's not even a trace of the wine. Also, years ago when my medical doctors insisted that I lose weight, I dropped 50 lbs in a year. The Clothes Doctor's expert tailors saved my expensive suits, converting them from size 48 to size 44 flawlessly. As I walk in the door at The Clothes Doctor 2 or 3 times monthly, I anticipate the lovely smile of Grace or any of her colleagues. They're all so great!!!

Brought my jeans here to be shortened because they were way too long and when I tried them on after they were picked up, the jeans were above my ankles AND the hem on the right leg was crooked! I called them, they told me bring it in, they wanted to blame me for telling them to cut it that short. It looked horrible and so poorly done. Like you gave them to a 12 year old to be shortened. Those jeans were $60 I got on sale and an extra $25 to get them altered. $85 in the garbage for nothing. It was supposed to be worn on Christmas. Now the jeans are going to be donated. They did a horrible job. I just bought the jeans and haven’t even worn them yet because they were too long and they ruined it and instead of trying to make the customer happy they just kept blaming me, they even pulled up pictures from their cameras of them with pins in the hems. I will never EVER come back ever ever again! You couldn’t work with customers and give them a break during Christmas time for your wrong doing?? what happened to the customer always being right? I’m going to tell everybody I know not to go to this place. Horrible customer service. I demanded my $25 back and that I received. Seriously people go somewhere else they are way to overpriced and they will not work with you the slightest. Very rude. They don’t even speak english well enough to understand a god damn word coming out of their mouths. They wanted to blame it on me. When I showed them how crooked the hem was they laughed and said they wouldn’t be able to mess up the hems that I bought it that way, I told them I tried it on and would’ve never bought them if the hems looked like that. The right side of the jeans looked so crooked and one leg was longer than the other. Horrible customer service. Horrible. I was livid when I walked out and I made it known, Don’t come here folks. save your money go somewhere else. Money wasn’t even the issue it was the principal that were not willing what so ever to work with me and to blame me. They altered it and did a poor job and I was unhappy and they didn’t care and blamed me. You can’t get mad at the customer if they aren’t happy WHEN THEIR PAYING YOU MONEY AND KEEING YOU IN BUSINESS. I won’t be returning ever again.Service: Clothing alterations & repairs

I've been with them for 25 years and they've been taking good care of my clothes for a long time. And the same day service adds to the satisfaction. This shop is famous in this neighborhood. My family also uses this place and many neighbors around me use this place. They are also satisfied.

This is a drop store. They send all the work out, no same day service . Hard to communicate.

I had a child's coat dry cleaned here recently and the cost was exorbitant. $48 for dry cleaning a 12-year olds coat, and they did a mediocre job at best. I don't understand how they justify their prices. My husband had his cleaned at White Cleaners, on Kraft Ave, Bronxville for a fraction of the cost and they did a much better job too. I will not be using Clothes Doctor Cleaners again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

When my dear Italian dressmaker retired, I wondered where I was going to find someone else nearby. A friend suggested The Clothes Doctor in Bronxville, right near my home. I've been going to them for alterations for years and have never been disappointed. They take you on a walk-in basis, which I like. They have always been very helpful and I've been happy with their work. They usually finish on time--only once did they not get to my dress after a week, and when I said I needed the dress the next day, the seamster did the alterations right there. I think the prices are fair for the area. I've had several items cleaned, and they've come out very nicely.

Their work is exceptional. The people are gracious and polite. I have been going to them for years. Every time I pick up my clothes they have been dry cleaned flawlessly.
