I had recently purchased a pair of sunglasses that came bent from the manufacturer and needed adjustment. Charles took care of me and made short work of the adjustment. We also spent a long time chatting about different sunglasses. It was clear that he doesn’t just work in the industry, he’s an enthusiast with a wealth of knowledge. The next time I buy a pair of sunglasses, or if the day comes that I need eyeglasses, this shop will be on my shortlist because of their selection and personable staff.

We walked in asking for a simple eye test. The service we received was a regular eye test- but they billed it as a medical issue, sent us a huge bill and won't return our calls.

I had a wonderful experience at Trapp Optical in Bronxville, NY. They have an in-house optometrist who determined my prescription and a great selection of frames with knowledgeable folks to guide choosing the right size. The lenses are made on the premises. First rate! (And I learned that I had been cleaning my glasses incorrectly! A valuable lesson!)
