They are friendly, and their produce is always fresh. Even in the off-season, the quality is there. The dairy section has many products that are locally sourced.

This simple and small multi-generation family run farm is truly a gem within Brookhaven Hamlet! Conveniently located near the South Country Road/Beaver Dam Road intersection, this farm has many delicious fruits, including my favourite and difficult to find, champagne grapes! The fruits and vegetables are very fresh, the drinks they offer are delicious, and they also have small gifts such as painted mason jars and wine glasses. My favourite is the daughter's own gluten free cookies! I have to be gluten and corn free due to having both Aspergers and Tourettes Syndromes, so finding food safe for me to eat in fairly isolated locations is difficult. I appreciate being able to get off the bus, walk to the farm stand, and buy a package of the Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Crinkle, or Sugar cookies, along with a few of their carrots or apples and string beans and potatoes, before I go for a walk through the woods down the road. Whatever I don't eat (most of the time the cookies do NOT make it home!) on my hike, I bring home and cook for dinner. I highly recommend!

Feel great to support a local farm by buying there goods. More than just fruits and vegetables here. Feels like being in the past here.

So great to have a working farm right down the road! Fresh produce plus baking! Gluten free options! Deer Run rocks!

Expensive and there is one older lady who doesn’t even greet you! If you can’t be polite why own a business where you sell to people! The younger lady helped ring us up after we looked around and was much nicer. The prices are so insane and with terrible service I wish I never came here!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this family owned farm stand . I've been driving passed this place for years always saying to myself that I have to stop here one day, Well last summer I got fed up with the Farm Stand I had shopped at for years because they weren't following COVID protocols, so I decided to give Deer Run Farms a try and the rest is history. During the summer and fall they were only allowing two parties in the farm stand at a time which was great for social distancing since the inside space is on the small side. For the winter and spring their store has gone completely online. They are opened Thursday through Sunday. You order and pay online and they give you a pick-up time, you walk in the front of the Farm Stand, look for the bag with your name on it and you are out the door. Doesn't get easier than that! All of the fruits and vegetables we have purchased have been high quality and very fresh. Much better than what you get at the grocery store. They also sell other items such as pies, cookies, jams and spreads, A variety of cheeses and many other items as well including hand painted wine glasses and other lovely gift items. All of the staff are so friendly and personable and the store is so neat and clean inside. I have recommended them to many family and friends who live in the area and they have been very pleased as well. If you live in the area give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
