“UPDATE- 12/9/23I decided to call and ask if I was still on Que for delivery, the gentleman that answered the phone apologized for the inconvenience and got the wood delivered to me right away and even waived the delivery fee.Placed an order for 1/2 cord of seasoned wood today in the afternoon, when I spoke to the lady on the phone she was very courteous. She even told me that they could deliver the wood today which sounded perfect and that the driver would call me when they were enroute. Fast forward to 8:15pm I never received a phone call or told that my order would not be fulfilled today. Spent the day home waiting on this order which never came. Very disappointing I was really looking forward to trying their seasoned wood based off the reviews I read.”
“I have Never stopped here before today, i always went all the way to Holtsville for the "bloomin haus"... but I have to say it, I like this place better! Prices are not as expensive as some other nurseries and they have the HEALTHIEST plants i have ever seen around this area. Got some Beautiful flowers....Very impressed!”
“Absolutely amazing place. We have gone for pumpkins in the past but we went for our Christmas tree this year and we got more than we bargained for. A perfect tree, pictures with Santa, and an awesome light up walking path that my niece loved. The owner was a very friendly guy and super helpful.”

“This farm stand had an abundance of Fall plants and decorations at great prices! The mums were very healthy and came in a variety of beautiful colors. When we asked if they had any larger hay bales, an employee apologized and said that they didn't, but that they were getting in a big shipment the next day. They had beautiful adirondack furniture at discounted prices for the end of the season. We bought 2 bar height chairs connected by a table at an amazing price. I'll be going back to buy a few hay bales. They also told us that they're having an Oktoberfest on October 22 with an oompah band and a food truck. And it's BYOB. I'm looking forward to it.”

“Great experience today. Staff was informative and helpful. Nick & Sunayana at check out were absolutely great. They identified items in the system that were missing tags and they signed me up for a Home Depot Card and made sure I got any discounts available. People like them, both kind and helpful, really make a difference and make you want to return to your store.”
“Great place to pick out and either cut down yourself or they'll cut down, your next Christmas tree. They have the fabulous White Fir trees also called Concolor that smell of citrus.”
“Usually we shop at a Home Depot closer to home, but whenever our local store doesn't have an item in stock, this location usually does. The store is clean and the staff is extremely helpful without being condescending. (as a woman, I often find this not to be the case at other Home Depot locations). Specifically Jay and Sal were very helpful. Other employees we walked past either asked us if we needed help or just pleasantly greeted us.”
“I garden! That’s what I do . I buy plants and it’s my favorite hobby. The plants are reasonably priced and I get great deals. The people who work there are great too. They go out of their way and we talk about plants and I enjoy being there walking around shopping.. helpful and it’s nice to be treated like a person and not a wallet .”

“I was visiting family in Shirley, NY for the holiday and we were expecting more family for a lunch gathering. My son makes an amazing grilled chicken recipe but realized he wasn't sure if he had enough gas for his BBQ. I drove to Home Depot five minutes away with his empty tank & practically parked inside the Garden Center - hoping out of my car while employees were surprised where I parked. All I said was "Please! We're having family visit for Christmas Eve, they specifically requested grilled chicken but our BBQ doesn't have enough gas!" Without a question, the cashier, whose booth was almost inside my car, jumped into action calling for urgent assistance with gas tanks. Before I could even close my car door, a young man was on his way with a full gas tank. I don't think my car was in the Garden Center more than 4 minutes and I was on my way back home with the gas. The employees were great - sweet, jumped (really jumped!) into action and had my car and I out of the Garden Center lickity split. They are super heros in my book! Home Depot is lucky to have those employees, and if all their employees are trained like this, your visit would be nothing short of amazing.”
“My favorite place to buy my flowers. From hibiscus, dahlia, roses to peony, everything I've purchased from there over the years has thrived and is always beautiful. They have nice yard decorations as well and many I've had for years. I never leave there empty handed.”
“After renting a nailer and returning it to the store for an exchange; the crew on duty (especially "Tony") went above and beyond normal customer service standards and well exceeded my expectations to ensure my satisfaction. He could not have been more helpful and pleasant throughout the exchange process and overall service he provided. Great Customer Service!”

“Landscaped our front yard with plants and trees from here. We also have bought our Christmas tree for the past few years. Friendly and efficient staff. Had an issue with our tree this year. Dealt with Rosanne. Absolutely wonderful customer service. Can’t recommend them enough!”
“Today January 30 2024 I was at the Coram Home Depot, I was purchasing electrical materials for my sisters house in rocky point. We were purchasing a lot of materials so I decided to try the pro desk, I was greeted by Maria and Petal who were extremely helpful, they assisted me in opening a pro account for my father and added his military identification for additional discounts. They were both so amazing, nice, professional. Maria assisted my dad with installing the Home Depot app on his iPhone, she scanned his military identification and applied everything into his account, Petal took our order of materials and informed us that because it was over a certain amount she could send it to the bid room. The prices came down and saved us money. We had 3 shopping carts of materials and Petal rang everything quickly and explained that we can now send our future orders in for pricing and possible discounts. Overall I couldn't thank both Maria and Petal for all of their help. I recommend anyone with a small business to go see them at the pro desk at the Coram Home Depot.”

“Was here today at the Shirley store to pick up 6 various items that fit in my shopping cart.As I got on a short line at self checkout, I had Mary ask me if she could help with scanning so I said sure.By the time she was done I had my card ready to swipe and was on my way in no time.I noticed she was doing that with other customers which showed she cared enough about helping move the line and not just watching like you see in other stores.Nice experience at the self checkout!”

“Definitely not the Top Flagship Store in the Home Depot Empire, but definitely not the Worst. For the most part it's got pretty much whatever you're looking for and while associates are not all over the place, you can usually find one within 5 to 10 minutes -- like I said, not the Best, but definitely NOT the worst -- Worth checking it out if you need something”
“I needed to buy an AC Unit for my daughter's apartment. There was a price difference that was advertised on the Home Depot website. I walked over to customer service, stood there for about 10 minutes without being acknowledged by two female sales associates. They were busy yapping away about their personal lives. I said, excuse me.. sorry to interrupt and continue to ask my question. 1) both were abrupt and very rude 2) both gave me wrong information. I was too annoyed and walked away to deal with their poor customer service. I went to search for another sale associate and found Mike, he's the reason for the 5 stars!!! He helped me out, was very friendly and professional. There was another sales rep that asked if I needed help with the AC unit and brought me a cart. I didn't get his name. But these guys should train those rude women in customer service.”

“I went on the website looking for topsoil and stone for drainage. It was after hrs so I couldn't call. It was yesterday, Friday. I received a text asking what I needed. I was able to order what I needed by last night. Fast forward today and I received the rocks and great screened topsoil at 2:30pm!!II highly recommend this company!!”
