Excellent experience! Especially for someone who lacks experience selecting scents for others, as for I do not wear cologne, but am a huge fan of the Jean Paul Gaultier line. The reps were very patient and insightful. They also updated me on discounts. And to my surprise, with all the fragrances in store, I did not feel overwhelmed. Maybe its due to the coffee beans set aside each section.
Needless to say, I'm a returning customer and will continue to refer Sephora to friends and family.

Hello Sephora I have been a regular customer for this location at Atlantic mall for years and now I am very disappointed . Unfortunately in 12/ 15/2025 I had the worst experience with the staff here I went with my mom to buy some perfumes, we were at the perfumes area and my mom accidentally stepped a foot behind the registers. My mom tried to get out from there, but the place was too crowded with people. One of the staff asked her to move out. She was trying to move out, but since it was too crowded she couldn’t walk over people she had to wait a little for people to move out of the way. One of the staff ( same lady ) started screaming at us. Mind you we were waiting for the employee who went to get us the perfumes and never came back. When I ask why she didn’t get use the perfumes, she said she forgot to tell us and forget to look for the perfumes we asked for. I felt unwelcome and racism towards me and my mom we had to leave the place because of that very rude lady.

My experience at Sephora was excellent. The associate who assisted me (Ayana). I hope I'm spelling her name correctly. Was very knowledgeable and confident in the products she recommended. She was attentive, listened to my needs, and even guided me to another team member for makeup-specific questions. I really appreciated her professionalism.

It's a super busy store (or was when I went at least) but the staff are good. Multiple checked if I needed help and when I did, the guy who helped me showed me exactly where to find the product. Will definitely be back regularly.

My favorite store is down town Brooklyn, NY. Best staff ever. They are always attentive and knowledgeable. I have to shout out some special workers who goes above and beyond to help, Zee, Beatrice, Tenesha, Corrin, August, and Will. There are some names that I forgot, but shout out to you all. Keep up the excellent work, best sephora store.

I rarely visit this location but today honestly solidified as to why I don’t think I plan on ever going back.. the employees are very selective on who they provide customer service for. I was scrambling around the store like a headless chicken for almost 30 minutes.

Had an unpleasant visit this time around. Ive been there twice but the second time wasnt great! The cashier was unhelpful and her custimer service wasnt great.
The first time there was great. The young lady there helped me find some great buys and the perfume dept was absolutely great. The customer service that day was exceptional but the second time there was blah.....except for the older lady who gave me a deal on…..

Amanda F. was so helpful when I needed assistance looking for specific products for an event. I was a little out of my comfort zone and she thoughtfully picked out things for me me, explained what each product did and kept it under budget! she was really kind and made something that could have been stressful not stressful at all.

THEY ALWAYS UPON LATE. It’s 10:02PM and I’m still here waiting for the doors to be open. I was here on Saturday and it was the same issue. A few people left because at 10:am the doors aren’t open. According to someone waiting “they always open this store late”.

Grossly understaffed, exhausted staff couldn’t care less about what I needed. I wandered around like a lost piglet. Love it when these corporate chains, skimp on the front-end so the schemers at the top can have that fourth property in the Hamptons.
I found lots of unsharpened or stubby tips, mucked up palettes, this place is gross.
I waited and waited for help with promises of incoming help from somebody who looked in charge but nothing happened.
After approaching a second staffer with long dirty nails, who pushed only recommended Sephora brand products, I gave up and left.
I will not be returning to Sephora. Why, when I can get personalized full service at a high end department store?

ELIZABETH IS A QUEEN. I looked everywhere in the store for a specific brush and gave up, but mentioned it to her at checkout, and she proceeded to take me around the entire store to try and find it and eventually we did. That’s just the best customer service she made me feel so respected and she should get a raise.
