overall fair to good selection of items for healthy eating. Could use some work on the meat selection. Broken glass doors to milk section for over a month. What has happened to this store!!! New Lidl supermarket opening this week.

Went to the Aldi in Gateway today. I was extremely disappointed. It was messy and disorganized. There were empty boxes in the aisles, paper on the floors, and the shelves weren't well stocked. The produce section was messy and not well stocked. This was the first and last time I will go there. I rather pay higher prices and go to a well stocked clean store. I will stick with Shoprite and Trader Joe's.

Aldi is supposed to be doing quite well. I have been to several decent locations. But this Aldi, in spite of pleasant employees, has to be one of the most poorly managed retail stores I have found. A path of crushed cherries to slip on extended for three feet, and was not cleaned up during my 45 minute visit. Aisles were not straight; the gondolas were erected unevenly. Thirty six foot sections of aisles were completely empty. Shelves were a mess. There was a huge case cut at the end of one aisle, but no one took the trouble to take the tops of off the cases. Plus four employees at the front, but only one cashier was working.
It strikes me that this only occurs in poorer neighborhoods. It’s as if we don’t count.
