My go to car rental spot in Manhattan! Good location and smooth experience. Debra(rep), Bionny (branch manager) & Thomas (regional manger for location) are all super helpful. They offer a wide selection of cars at good rates (specially if you have a corporate discount). You can return a car after hours and drop off keys in lock box. Only thing I would say is that they give you car at let’s say 1/2 gas tank and you need to fill it up at same level for return which is often tricky to do.

Thanks to Enrique C for looking out for my safety and taking good care to get me on the road on a rainy sleety day. Sixt procedures are easy and accommodating. Car was clean, perfect. I will rent again from them when I can.

Do NOT rent from Sixt. I hate to leave such bad reviews, because every employee I interacted with at Sixt was very kind. The issue is not the experience at pick up or drop off, it’s their “AI Detection”, “virtual assessments”, and non-existent customer service AFTER drop off.
Even after walking around the car with an employee to verify there are no damages, expect to receive a bill for damages that were “virtually assessed” and then “virtually appraised” for WAY more than anything that would make sense. No one at Sixt will email me back, despite them telling me to email. No one at Sixt will respond to my phone calls despite telling me to call.
If you are looking for a straight forward rental car experience, do NOT rent from Sixt. Even at a cheaper rate, I guess they are trying to make their money off of charging damage fees way after the rental date? Not a great business model for a newer rental car agency in the US.

Hands down some of the most engaged and interactive staff I've encountered thus far. Yes I'm naming names. Let's begin with Manager Alief (I hope I spelled it correctly), nuts and bolts management who's not condescending. Managers could be that way towards their staff sometimes. We have Michael and Ricardo also at the desk. Very knowledgeable and engaging.I mean these guys are going to go far. They're polite and super empathetic. Upstairs we have Dom and Jeremy who handles the vehicles, they determine if the car can go back out and yes very engaging, works efficiently as a team and gets you in and out with no delays. Heck they're about to get my business account as well as my associates. Thanks guys...and keep up the good work.

This has been the worst rental experience I’ve ever had.
EDIT: But now they replied telling me to “send an email,” even though I have already done that six different times. This just shows that they don’t care about their customers at all.
They charged my card without any issue when I booked the car, then, when I arrived in person, they suddenly claimed my bank card was “not acceptable.” Because of this, I had to use another card, and they assured me the original payment would be refunded shortly.
That was two months ago.
Since then, I’ve written to them six times, and they always blame an “IT error” on their side. I still haven’t seen a single forint of my money. To make things worse, they now claim that until this refund is magically processed, they also cannot return the deposit they charged on my second card. This makes absolutely no sense.
At this point it feels like they are just trying to steal from me or already have. Completely unacceptable, and I will be filing a police report. Avoid this company at all costs.

It was a really friendly and profesional service. Car was almost new, with all safety features in a car, so it was a pleasure to drive around USA. Ricardo was our guy and he did a great job, offered whats best for us, not pushing with anything so 5/5 for him as well. And there was no hidden cost and easy after working hours return car without any hassle. Would rent the same next time visiting USA.
