Dr. Ibrahim and the staff are amazing here. My family and I have been going to this clinic for years now. They’ve taken very good care of my yorkie boy. They have always given an honest assessments and provided further resources when needed. Dr. Ibrahim has always shown compassion and patience with every visit. I will never considered going anywhere else. The clinic is small and there is a waitlist since there are no appointments. I would agree with the other reviews that say the wait is very long and should expect to be there for hours. But because I know what to expect, I plan out my day accordingly and get comfortable. What can I say? It is what it is. If anyone seriously has an issue with this, they should really consider going to an appointment based clinic instead! More room for the rest of us here lol. That’s just one of the downsides of going to a walk-in clinic, what does anyone expect? I find it worthwhile for the quality of care that the dr and staff give to each patient.

Disrespectful. Right sitting here 12 peoples in crazy small room, plus three people waiting outside and is looks like nobody care about it. Why I have to wait so long you guys? I’m just wasting my time there in only one my day off on whole week. Never come back!!!!

I went to the Animal Clinic of Bay Ridge for the first time on 12/26/23 to take my 14 year old lady puppy Oombie (she still looks like a puppy) who wasn’t doing well during the holidays (not eating or drinking, not wanting to take walks and losing her balance when walking and falling without being able to get up. We were also on night 3 of no sleep because my dog couldn’t get comfortable during the night and kept waking up to pace in circles, and get lost in our room while also falling constantly).I read the reviews of the clinic before going and since I kept seeing that it was only walk ins I decided to go that morning early. They open at 10am but I arrived at 9:05am. When I arrived 5 people already signed in and we’re ahead of me. Everyone in the reception area were very kind and welcoming. The doctor finally saw saw us at 11:30-40am.I explained to Dr. Ibrahim what was going on with my little old lady and also wanted to know if any medication could be prescribed to her so she can sleep at night or anything to make her feel more comfortable since her anxiety was off the roof.Dr. Ibrahim said that she’d need blood test first in order to rule out any organ failure before she could prescribe any medication or able to follow up with an appropriate treatment. She said that we could do the blood test at the Clinic but it would take at least 2 days for the results to come back, but because my baby wasn’t doing good, she didn’t want my dog to endure 2 more days without any medication or treatment to make her feel better - So she recommended for me to go to the Animal ER (either VERG or Blue Pearl) where I will be able to do the blood test and get the results on the same day as well as get medication or treatment right away. This alone spoke volumes to me because if she was someone who only cared about the money she wouldn’t have suggested for me to go to the ER and would’ve just suggested for me to wait 2 days for the results. She was very kind and nice when examining my dog and very informative when talking to me.I decided to go to VERG right after that where after examining my dog the rest of the afternoon, it was ruled out that my dog had a brain tumor and due to the symptoms progressing so fast (in a matter of a week) it showed that the tumor might’ve been too large to operate and it was time to say goodbye and euthanize my baby because her symptoms were only going to worsen in the next few days/weeks.That night around 8pm, Dr Ibrahim called me (I missed her call) just to let me know that she got in contact with the ER and they told her about the sad news and that she wasn’t to call just to give her condolences and to let me know her and the clinic are there for me if I had any questions. The amount of compassion, kindness and care I was shown by Dr. Ibrahim and her staff was so heartwarming.I 100 percent recommend Dr. Ibrahim and her clinic.Yes, the wait time is a bit long (due to only doing walk ins) so make sure to get there an hour earlier before they open but they’re affordable (I was only charged $25 for the consultation visit) and most importantly, they care about your fur babies and are very kind to you and them.

I have been going there for a year now. Dr Ibrahim is the most caring vet I have been to. After my dogs ophthalmologist appointment and being diagnosed with glaucoma, Dr Ibrahim called me to check on my dog and to go over the medications. The price is very affordable abut the wait is a little long but it’s worth it.

After using this clinic in various occasions, my last experience was horrible. Went there to euthanize my outdoor cat at 9:30 and was kept at the waiting room for over three hours. This is cruel to me since it is an agonizing decision. A priority or appointment should be given to people that are euthanizing their pets. Most people will agree to that...When called, I was kept in the back room for 15 minutes, that gave me an opportunity to see how dirty and outdated the place looked. The base of the examination table was rusted and filthy, the medicine cabinets were disorganized and gave the impression that half of those medicines were expired. The X-ray machine looked like it was made in the 1940's. The view of the bathroom which unfortunately had to used, was more of the ones that you see at gas stations. The staff was having lunch and engaged in small talk that you don't want to hear close to me. When the vet N. Ibrahim came in, I explained that last time this cat escaped from the cage and most likely he will do the same. Apparently, she didn't listen and the tech proceeded to open the cage without taking precautions. The cat ran across the room into another room. Needless to say, I was upset. The vet asked me what can we learn...to which I replied that history should had been written in the medical record card and gloves should had been used to get the cat out of the cage. It's not my role to tell them how to do their job. Maybe if they listen and ask questions, things would have been different. There was no dignity in euthanizing my cat and I am writing this review to have someone avoid this horrible experience.

Do call ahead to confirm their hours before going in. Luckily I went early enough on a Wednesday, 11am was the cut off for the day. No appointments - walk-in only and then sign in. Exam routine/consultation is $25. Affordable treatment prices for your pets. This will be my go to clinic for my cats.

Always overcrowded. There's only one doctor and the staff is slow and told me after waiting 6 hours that I had to go somewhere else, because they didn't treat this growth that my dog had on his paw. Avoid this place.

I love this place. Everyone that works there are so nice and straightforward. It isn't fancy but the care and service are excellent. They are a real service to the lower income community and they are 1/3 of the cost EVERYONE else around. Again, they are all so nice and considerate. Nook and Wiley are happy healthy 4 months old crazies thank YOU! ????
