The return policy sucks. I purchased a jack from them, and it was too small for the job. they wouldn't except the return unless I had a paper receipt. I purchased it by credit card, so the electronic receipt was no good. So be careful, no matter how you purchase your item. Make sure to get a paper receipt. I let them keep the jack.

Your typical AutoZone you find in New York with helpful staff that are semi knowledgeable, but always willing to help you out and I was courteous this particular head apart I was looking for you. That was a very common part that seemed to be the only one within three counties that had the part that I needed. I found the part cheaper online, but due to circumstances, I purchased it here for more money and since I didn’t have the other parts to return to charge me a $40 fee that I will get back if I return the part, the used part that I replaced this part with this particular Auto is a little bit off the beaten path. It sounded dead end Road. There’s some plenty of parking but it looks like there’s some abandoned vehicles around too.Pretty typical of Brooklyn though.

Came here to buy a battery and asked if anyone there to install it. Initially the store clerk said no. So I hesitated to buy it, because I never installed a battery myself. Then he sent an employee to my car, who said he would install it if I tipped him.
I said I can give him $10 tip. He immediately says $20.
This is basically highway robbery! It takes 10 mins if not less to install a battery and autozone employees aren’t supposed to charge for it. Sure, I can give a tip of $5-10 if I want. But not $20 for a 10 mins job.
I plan to make a complaint about this behavior to Corp office. This is absolutely disgusting!

I was helped at the register by a very knowledgeable woman who helped me get parts for two of my cars. I can def recommend this branch of AutoZone to all Brooklynites.
