Showed up for a time sensitive rental and the front desk forgot to show up, no one could step in, the manager was unavailable, and my whole trip got ruined. Thanks!

This has been the worst car rental experience of my life. Be prepared, their ID machine barely works. The single employee asked the group in front of me to go home and get their passport if they were going to rent a car. Mind you, the place closed in 15 minutes because we had all been waiting in line for an hour. The same thing almost happened to me, but I had her swipe a few times and it finally worked. My car was dirty, carplay was not set up.
When I returned the car, they had closed early. So I now have to figure out how to get them to not charge me for the extra day that I had to pay for the parking garage + returning my car “late.” When I came back, there were zero employees there besides the security guard (who was lovely, overdelivering on her job) and as you see here, people just gave up and left their cars in front of the gate.
Really just unacceptable.

I've had consistently bad experiences with this Avis location. The service is incredibly slow, making even the simplest task, like picking up a car, an unnecessarily lengthy ordeal. They consistently overbook, showing a complete lack of concern for the fact that this can ruin someone's travel plans. Worse yet, when they overbook, they offer no solutions—just a shrug and a "sorry, nothing we can do." It’s clear that this company does not care about customer service; they only care about charging high prices. If you're looking for reliable service, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere.

They arent being truthful about the amount of gas vehicle has at the time of rental in order to charge you more $. Enterprise down the street charges a bit more but service is way better and won't over charge you on agreement.

The absolute worst. Had a 3pm pickup. Got there at 3:07. Site was closed. Why accept a 3pm reservation if your location closes at 3pm? Not the first time I’ve had an issue at this location. Avoid

I made a reservation for 3pm, I show up at 3:15pm, they had closed for the day. No call, no email. Out of luck. I get in again at 7am the next morning, I wait in line for 75 minutes. I am the 3rd customer in line. No idea what the wait was, they had one person doing everything moving at her own pace.

No dropoff past 3 at all. Avoid this location if you can. If you don’t live in the area and you arrive late, you are screwed.

I’ve never had a customer experience as frustrating as this one. When I picked up my car, the attendant was on the phone with a friend, clearly distracted, and forgot to return my ID. The car itself was in poor condition, needing an oil change, and reeking of cigarette smoke—hardly ideal for a cross-country trip.
The issues didn’t stop there. When I swapped the vehicle in Tennessee, the representative oddly instructed me to keep the keys. It took 24 hours for them to call me back, and when they did, it was with an accusatory tone, demanding I return the keys immediately. I complied, overnighting them via FedEx at my own expense, only to find that no one was available to confirm receipt when I called.
These problems cost me hours of wasted time and forced me to delay my trip. When I asked Avis for an extension of just four hours to make up for the lost time, they tried to charge me an additional $400—nearly half the cost of the entire rental.
This was, without a doubt, the worst customer service I’ve experienced in all my years. Avis needs to address these issues to prevent other customers from going through such a nightmare.
